I got my 2 HHA Optimizers as well as my 2 XB1s in today. I decided that instead of using a Killjoy APR, I am going with a .5" riser thats non adjustable, just to raise the HHA up for eye relief and to be able to sight in with my mask. My Paradigm pro should be in next week, so expect lots of pictures, reviews, and test data on that one next weekend. ^_^ Please let us know your results without the APR. My XB1 comes in today or tomorrow and I would like to see our results compare/contrast. I have an APR2 and also some raisers that I can use or not use.

I will, ruraldawgs. I plan on having a full write up, numbers, stats, data, the whole shebang. Plus, a full, in depth review of the Paradigm pro. I will have 640 FSRs at my disposal, so at least 250-300 will be going through the Paradigm over the next weekend.

Thanks! Of course he doesn't have any more listed now....can you post some pics of how you mounted it when you get a chance? I'm sure I'll figure something out without to much trouble.

Here are some (soory, but I sent large pix so you'd get a better view; but, it screws up the text on this page: Side- Front- Back- ? top- Ask mayhem where he got them or contact Leupold directly. You can try a kludge, that's what I originally planned but I don't know how you adjust it (sight it in). It's probably work looking for!

REPORT on XB-1: So with my APRv2, and 1 inch UTG low profile raisers below it (and cheapo NC Star ring mounts) Adjustment on the APR is roughly 3 lines up.
My new XB-1 required 14 clicks "right" and 12 clicks "up". The MOA adjustment is awesome compared to my old TruGlow. The clarity of this scope is very nice. I wish the relief was a little bit better/bigger though.
I will be playing woodsball tomorrow in sunny-warm Arizona and will post a report. This particular field we play (the Jungle) is long and narrow. No bunkers except for tree/trunks. I will set up in the back-field and pick off anyone hanging out who think they are out of range :-) ~60 yds.

Fanasitic to hear! Glad you got it sighted in and see the clarity. It will rock for you this weekend. Here's what I'm having done to that APR you mentioned. Fixxer is awesome:

Looks real nice. A question (since you seem to be on the subject of APR's). Does anyone have any info on tiberius second version. Is it just shorter or have they fixed the side to side sway?

Shot 100 FSRs today through the Paradigm Pro. Had to go 10 clicks down and 5 clicks to the left to get it to zero. The reticule on the XB 1 was amazingly clear, with or without the lens shields down. The amount of eye relief is great, and can be easily brought to sight with a mask on. (I use VForce Grillz) I have my results in the Marker review section, with pictures. ^_^

I'm using the standard scope that came with the Tiberius Sniper Riffle my dad got me; but, I'm betting there's more to life than that scope. Can you or someone else compare the Tiberius scope to the XB1?
Would I need a riser like Chicago's if I get my dad to buy me an XB1?

I have a friend who just got onto the forums. (WhiteFeather). He will have my Para Pro for the next week or so, and will be doing some test shooting in comparison to his 9.1. He is using an NC Star Sporting scope. (I cannot remember the magnification.) I am sure he can give some comparisons. As for the Tiberius stock scope, I have used it as well on the 9.1 I used to have. In all honesty, I like the XB1 much better than the Tib scope, only for the mere fact that the reticules and the whole scope itself are built around a projectile that travels the speed of a paintball. Because of that one fact, I think the XB1 is worlds better than the Tib scope. Just my two cents.
You wont necessarily need a riser. Honestly, the risers are mostly to make the sighting of the scope easier with a mask on by raising the scope off the rifle. Any adjustable ones are good just to help with zeroing in at longer ranges. I just use the HHA on my Para Pro and I sight just fine. Others like using just the APR, and some use both the APR and HHA optimizer together. Some even just do a solid riser mount and no adjustable riser and hold the scope over on every shot. You have to see what it is you would like to do and what works best for you. There are multiple styles of shooting and set ups, so I am sure that people will give you their pros and cons list on what they use. Me? I love the way just the HHA sets up with no additional riser. It keeps my profile low, yet I can get behind it without much effort or my mask getting in the way. ^_^
