They don't have a solid ship date for me. This is the email I received from Sonny Lopez earlier today:
Stephen,
Thank you for your service.
Our polyurethane vendor is holding us up. We do not have a set ship date. Please give me any contact info you can share and I will be sure to communicate to you and your contact before we ship it.
Thank you, Sonny
As you can see, they are still experiencing delays, so I don't know when I will get it. Currently, I am en route to Manila, Philippines for a scheduled 3 and a half month deployment. I will be entrusting my SAR 12 to White Feather while I am deployed, so once it comes in, he will be the one providing the initial write up, pictures, and preliminary testing. Hopefully I will be back on time and put it through tests of my own.

ok. kinda annoying with all these delays but not their fault if the vendor is making problems. Wish you luck over there nessy

Fear not Nessy!!! I shall do a thorough unboxing video and do some test shooting with it to provide a report of form, features, & function.

My heart goes out to you Nessy; but, 3.5 month deployment will fly by! Hell, by the time you are back, caramtech may be shipping!

Ok, so i ordered the 20" HH barrel from Carmatech on April 5 from their website and have not received any communication from them. Last night I posted on their facebook page asking when I should expect it and I was told that I should of received a refund because they aren't selling them alone, only with the markers right now. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me.....if it's not available, say so on your website or at least let me know something about what's going on.....

I have been informed by Sonny that they are through their issues and they should be shipping my SAR 12 in the next 2 weeks.
I think they are waiting until they release the markers before selling everything separate. I believe that once the markers are released, they will start selling all of their products separate that they have listed on the website.

As I understand it, the hold up on shipping the guns has to do with a 3rd party supplier who is having trouble gearing up production, but it also wasn't with the makers of the barrels.

it was their polyurethane vendor (the plastic(?) material used for the body i guess) according to nessys post at the top of this page why they have stopped selling barrels alone might be because they want to focus on sending out complete markers as fast as possible and until they have caught up with all ordered markers they probably won't sell barrels by them selves so as to avoid a possible holdup in their catching up because they need to wait for more barrels to be produced (this is all speculation on my part though but I agree that they ought to uppdate their webshop with that kind of information)
Great news nessy thanks for sharing

Oh ho! Using back door connections, DJ? Lol. I would love to get my hands on a barrel for my para pro, but I will have to wait until I get back from deployment. Dont worry, I wont ask you for your sources. We all have those go to guys who can get us anything and everything. lol

Heads up folks, just got done speaking with David Williams, the owner of Carmatch and it sounds like whatever the holdup was is now resolved. He said he'll also be attending D-Day and he's assured me that we'll be fielding at least 4 of the SAR12s. With some luck he'll also be joining our team, so I can only guess what the Germans will have to say once they learn that.
Come and join David and the rest of our O.S.S. unit as they 'reach out and touch' some folks on the other side.

Still trying to get there, it's gonna be a last minute thing if it works out. I have already been approved leave at work. Instead on competing with Mr. Williams, wouldn't it be cool to have all the SR-1 and SAR 12's on one team.....muhuhahaha.

DSA, My original plan was to draw enough people with your sort of experience together so that we could field multiple sniper teams in a number of our most mobile units. Units I'd hoped to insert teams included the 82nd and 101st AB as well as the CEF,or Commonwealth, but to date I haven't really seen that many people willing to step forward, so like any good tactician I've switched to plan 'B.' Plan 'B' calls for outfitting at least 4 sniper teams in our O.S.S. group and if more should become available then into other units as well. The O.S.S. is comprised of mostly active and retired military types. They ALL carry dual band VHF/UHF radios which let them communicate with one another as well as with our TOC. They also have a sophisticated comms intercept capability that's beyond anything you're apt to find outside of the military itself. You may think yeah sure, he's full of it, but to the contrary, what I've told you isn't even a complete picture of what they're capable of.
So, as it stands now I think we'll be able to field at least 4 and possibly 5 SAR12s, plus close to a dozen 468s, and a number of Tiberius 9.1s and DYE DAMS. Combine all that with an ability to maintain radio contact and constantly updated intelligence reports and you have the makings for a see change in how people will look at PB from this point forward.
If you, or anyone else needs a ride, or wants to join a convoy, please let me know now, so I can work to make that happen. As for a place to stay, all you really need is a light weight sleeping bag, a small water proofed 2-3 man tent. Entry fee for the entire week, including camp fee is roughly 83.00 and that includes HPA and shower access. That leaves money for food, paint and anything else' you might find in the vendor area that you feel you can't live without. If the thought of sleeping in a tent doesn't appeal, there's probably still space in one of the CEF's storm proof Conex bunk houses.

thought i should share this if there are others in Europe that are considering to buy a Sar 12. A webshop in UK have started selling them for a little more than the US price but if you include the shipping the cost difference is most likely nearly non existant (it is for me) and you run little to no risk of having to pay vat or toll or whatever it is called in english (import tax?) if your country does that for stuff from usa (since at least in my county they don't make you pay that when ordering within the EU (and i think its like that for all the EU countries)) anyway here is the link www.magfedpbuk.com/magfed-paintball-guns/carmatech-engineering-paintball-guns/sar12-sniper-paintball-gun
