Nice^^ will probably take more than a month before i can get my hands on one myself though since shipping to Sweden from the US always seem to take at least 3 weeks =/ Hoping for a review^^

Don't worry. I'll be sure to have a full write up with accuracy tests. I have 3 barrels to try out with it so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Nessy if you don't mind and have a location where you can do it, could you add a few long range shots (70+ yards maybe?) and check how big the spread is at that range?

Of course, archorn. That was my plan to begin with. I plan on stretching this marker out to its fullest range, even going so far as to recreate that mythical "125 yard shot heard round the world" that happened at Fulda Gap last November. ^_^

I will do my best to get a video up of the unboxing. If not, there will be plenty of pictures of the unboxing.

Yes please do, we don't mind editorial quirks or unprofessional cutting. (Not that that would be an issue for you)

Not hearing allot about the beta testing on these. The CCM gun is allover the place. My concern is getting a deal on one of these.I posted this on face book. On the web site you have the builder model listed with a 8 inch smooth bore barrel. Will I be able to order that package with a 20 inch hammerhead.I have no need for the stock or fore grip and tank that comes with the sniper model ??It looks like I am all set it's the price that gets me 830 for the builder 1000 for the sniper! Not much drop there considering the 20 inch barrel is listed for 120 a 13/3000 tank is 50 who knows about the stock and fore grip cost. Being the minimalist I am I don't need allot of their accesories. It looks like they are pointing you tword the top model.

I've been a tester since September, we don't disclose a ton of information outside of the testing group for confidentiality purposes.
That being said, you will need a 550 PSI or less air tank, and the 20" Hammerhead barrel is pretty much without peer in shooting First Strike, so really the only extra parts your getting is the shroud and stock/stock guide.
I've heard that retail should be shipping soon, I didn't really ask about an exact date, but there were some holdups from external manufacturers.
It's a nice marker, regulator consistency is very good. Ergonomics are for me excellent, and trigger feel is great, it's a slider and there is very little grit or slack.

Thanks for the info, pcbean. I was told it will ship this week. I will be trying out several combinations of barrels/backs, including a .686 back on the 20" barrel. I'm super excited and will post my findings on here once I finish testing. I'm glad to hear the reg is very good.

Nessy, so far I have had the best results with a .686 fin. You will want a smooth bore for regular paint

I don't plan on shooting any regular paint. My baby will be my long range rig and she will have a strict diet of FSRs only. I am glad that you got the best results with the .686 fin, Fixxxer. I always thought .686 was the magic number for FSRs.

.688 used to work very well but FS are sO inconsistent now that you will find the majority will fit snugly into the .686, however some will fall right on through.

Yeah. Regardless, I was gonna use the .686. After seeing the groupings I got with it at 60 yards using my TM-7, I can only imagine what I can pull off with the SAR and that barrel combo. ^_^

So I just received word that Carmatech is waiting for a part to be finished. Apparently, instead of making different batches for the pre orders, they decided to make a bunch at once so the people who order in April and May wont have to wait. I have been told that I should receive mine sometime early to mid April. Needless to say, I am but a little peeved at this.
And yes, Trinity. I know the falls and down sides of pre orders and I'm feeling some of the effects now. Wise teacher knows best. Lol. ^_^
