This kind of makes me mad since people without t9/t8/.1 can now shoots FS. It kind of takes away our edge as snipers.

not necessarily. Think about the air consistency. Blowbacks are not always consistent. Tiberius picked a blowforward design because of how reliable, quiet, and consistent it is. We will always have that advantage

honestly im VERY doubtful that those mags will work in the first place, not to mention that i wouldn't even dream of trying to shoot FS through a Tippmann... the preformance of the tippmanns (cept for the phenom) is absolutely horrible. Getting them to the consistancy needed for FS seems kind wishful thinking to the extreme.

Wolfen, Really hope....... you're wrong . I have 2 of the mag conversion kits on preorder. I'll be getting 2 cases (20 mags) as soon as they're available. Will keep you posted. Why should Tiberius Owner's have all the fun? After they release those airless mags, I'll get one. BTW.... This thread's title should be modified ,since they're not out yet ( late summer )

Tiberius guns with first strike are the only real sniper rifles in the paint ball world. The reason for that is the FS. Of coarse there are home made guns that shoot FS, and some specialty guns as well. Since the T9/.1 is really only marketed for a small sliver of people, most of which are snipers, than mostly snipers will only have FS. If you make FS available to every one than the biggest advantage snipers have with their guns is gone. Sure it wont totally ruin being a snipers, but it takes some of the fun out of the game.

but honestly...think about it.
Who has the cash to pay for FS rounds to fill up a bunch of 20 round mags? and if you do have that kind of cash then just go and buy a T4

I agree with Reaper, why should Tib's have all the fun not to mention hog the "sniper market". I have a modded Carver One for FS.( I got it for 70 bucks after everything was said and done, dont judge me.) I love it and Im getting the tacamo kit for it as soon as I get my paycheck. I did and still kinda do want a tiberius but I like how i have the customization options that I get with tippmanns( I have a pimped out A5) but dont see as many options for Tiberius. Most T9's look the same and I wanted a certain look that says "this is my gun, dammit!! Plus, the price tag scared me greatly. Think about it, the new tacamo Dmags are $5 a pop, last I heard. a 100 rd box of fs is $40, so with 5 mags at a total of $25 you can have 100 rds loaded and ready. Tiberius FS mags for the t8/t9 are 130 for 3 mags plus holster and 50 for a T4 mag, the 10 and 14 rd ones. Personally, If someone wants to use a modded whatever to shoot FS, let them, the flaws that come with using a specific gun is for the user to overcome. We can argue that blowbacks like tippmanns are no where nears as consistant as blow forwards like Tib's or blow hards like blah blah blah, get a regulator for the thing and be happy, to each there own. Not everyone has the money for a tiberius but still want the power of Fs rounds. At the end of the day, your money, your stuff and your butt behind the gun pulling the trigger. I have nothing against Tiberius and I would like to have one if I had the cash and had the customization options that I wanted for it. But I dont so i got what I could get and happy with it untill I can get better stuff.

But the problem with that is if every one can have fs, than what's the point of having them. If you loose the advantage, than it's not worth spending 30 cents a shot.

not trying to be offensive, and I can understand your point of view. It just seems unfair to the people who got t9/.1 and spent the cash for FS to then have people spending half the price to do the same thing. I can see how you guys are saying that it doesn't matter since the t9/.1 will still be slightly more accurate. The problem is, who would spend $300 just to get 20 feet better range, and slightly quieter. There's no point of paying that much money for a tiny advantage. Also you say "why should tib's have all the fun," doesn't the whole point of paying so much for FS diminish if 4 out of 9 people on field have the same advantage as you?

I'm with Coral...If everyone has the advantage of FS then it will become standard and you will have to pay extra just to keep up with them

I still don't think the mags and magwells will work very well, but regardless of that i really really doubt that tons of people will play with FS rounds anyway. They're still expensive and it's a very select few that play mag or FS and i don't think that will change. This might get a few more interested in the sniper role which is a good thing but other then that i don't think it'll drastically change in a way that everyone would play with FS.

Well to be honest, I thought that Fs become the new standard was the planned and innevitable outcome. Yes I understand that you lose the exclusiveness of fs with the Tib's, but price and money comes into play. Tiberius is a company that needs money to survive just like any other and I believe that they will make a lot more on the sales of Fs with little cost to them if more guns on the market can use them. If Tiberius came out with a new gun that was less expensive and had that exclusive quality that the T9.1's and especially the T4 has, it would keep the Fs market in there court with a sign on the fence that reads members only. If understand correctly, the patent on FS rounds last 7 years and after that its fair game to any company to make themselves. (thats what I heard, dont judge me) I would love to see a comprimise, since Im that type of guy. A lower cost bolt action would be insanely awesome. Pump play is making a comeback, the cost should me fair enough for broke goobers like myself to get one and its a bolt action... I repeat, A BOLT ACTION!!!

why does everyone think the tibby markers are expensive?! 350$ for a ranger is a steal for what you get... sure the t4 is a bit over priced, especially now with the new t9.1 elite sniper (that i honestly think is worth it's price and then some) came out but still. What other marker could you get for 350 with the quality, consistancy, mod-ability and options that a t9.1 has? Tippmanns? please, apart from the phenom all tippmanns got crappy consistancy, heavy as hell and way over priced for what you get (i know there's alot of tippmann fans out there but truth be told a5,x7,98c just ain't any good ). BT guns? noup doesn't come close to tiberius quality or preformance. Milsig? this is possibly the only contender to tiberius but the price range is the same as the tibby without FS use (yea you can soon buy the kits for them but that will make it more expensive) (rambling ended)

350 for a marker isn't bad, matter of fact, its about average price depending on what you are looking for. The problem for me is that, the price of the gun is not the end of the expenses. The price for mags ( about $40-50 each) has a big part in it as well, that was the big factor when I was looking at getting a pistol. I chose the TPX because of price, I did get a lot of flak about how much better the T8/t8.1 are, but tell that to my wallet. Hell, I would have bought a Ego instead of my mini if I had that kind a money... well... not really but you get my point. If Tiberius had a price drop or came out with a less expensive alternative or I one the TPS competition, then I will be over a tib like me on white women

True enough the mags are a weebit expensive but added expenses comes with any marker really. you want new barrels, hoppers, air tanks... Im still hoping for the airless mags to make their appearance (maybe the d-mags will motivate tiberius somewhat more to actually get them out) since i use the tank-in-stock i don't really need the normal mags (unless i play pistol...)

Two mags are enough for me. That's only $30 since the t9.1 came with one.

IF Tiberius had made/released an airless mag... THEN , I would've got a 9.1 . It's not so much, the cost. ............As it is, the weight. Are they're priced per/ lb. ?? LOL
That said.........Back to Topic......(we need a smiley for this)MODs??
The D mags could be a great value .
10 D mags cost less than 2 Milsig/Rap4 mags. My 10 Milsig mags cost more, than My CQB. (Sad but True)
