Good to see you here Dorsai. For those of you who don't know, Dorsai is looking for shooters for the Allies side in D-Day. JJron99 and I are hoping to be there. If any of you are contemplating going, I would strongly suggest contacting him. The real snipers are on this forum and it would good to get them playing together at D-Day for the Allies.

I've been lurking for a while so I guess it's time I introduce myself, I'm DSA. I usually hang my hat over at MCB, but discovered A.C.E.S through Trinity's Blog. I've been involved in paintball since 1990. I was one of the original Easy Co. members together we won back to back State 10 man Championships in the early to mid 90's when woods ball was the in only game. On the professional side I am a US Army combat veteran, who served with the Big Red 1 in Afghanistan, and spent 8 yrs as a Drill Sergeant with the 95th DIV. Currently I own only 4 paintball guns: A vintage Line SI AdvantageRedux sn# DSA Redux sn# 007 And finally the crem'de'la crem of paintball sniper goodness...... CCM SR-1 Zombie Hunter sn# 007 complete with my iSniper modification. Tiberius FSR 2.0 5 degree front angled picatinny rail Custom CCM fluted 14 in barrel Daniels Defense fore grip rail system CAA ergonomic grip Magpul collapsible stock UTAC 4x32 fiber optic combo sight scope Here is a look at my set up, I just love these shells As for joining you guys, I'm hoping to learn some tips and tricks and hope to pass some on as well.

Always nice to have another shooter here. DSA's full SR1 review was so good I posted it up verbatim in my Blog entry today.
Hope to see you at D-day.

long time lurker, finally a member. Where's chicago?
I still run an old shoe box shocker that I got from my older brother.
Was thinking about a T4.1; but, now with a T15 coming out, I'm waiting patiently. I don't have a lot of cash so unlike chicago and all his gadgets, I just need a gun that's magfeed. Does the T15 come ith some type of iron sight? That would be good enough.
Great forum.

Welcome aboard Choirboy. While it's too early to be sure, I think the T15 is a better bet than the T4.1 and a lot cheaper. Of course it's way too early to make a final decision cause we haven't seen any independent tests.
Some of the pictures look to show iron sights on the T15 but we have to wait for the final word. The other thing I would want, depending on the propriety design of the barrel, is the availability of a rifled barrel. If that's all in the box when its shipped and the gun proves to be reliable in the field then this would be a well-priced rifle that sounds like it fits your needs very nicely. Can't say I'm sorry to see Co2 disappearing from Tiberius's new gun.

Name: Dusty
Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta
Time Playing: 10 years off and on
Main Marker: Milsig Paradigm Pro (as of yesterday woot!)
Team Affiliation: Good Company
I play most of my games on a private club field that my and my “team” (group of highschool buddies) maintain. I have spent more time working on the field than playing and I wish the course looked that way but I guess it’s getting nearer there each year. We have our own fill station and get discounted paint through the local store. I must admit I admire ACER paintball clubs setup and would hope to have something half the organised for my next 10 years of paintball. Organised outlaw ball is great and that seems to work well for us. Some days I watch VICE’s CQB action in Toronto and really want to attend and or alter our home field to it’s likeness.
I like the website and am looking forward to posting more in the future.

Welcome aboard Dusty. For years I played something like your private club type of play. Every Sunday my team would show up at a field and run a day's worth if games. Reading your post brought back a lot of memories.

DSA, Actually anybody on this site with F/S experience. I'm here to shamelessly to recruite paintball F/S based snipers to join my merry band of pirates known as the OSS at Oklahoma DDay to form the core of the first ever DDay F/S based sniper group. DDay is opening up the rules for 2013 to allow F/S rounds and in additionan RAP4 is sponsoring a mag-fed only mini-game on Thursday of game-week. Please see the DDay web site for details. If anybody is interested please contact me at kcorean@archcoal.com
Thanks, Kelly Corean Commander, OSS

Kelly, you will have better luck and more exposure if you started a thread about it in the lounge area or even the events subforum. Unfortunately I can't join your band, but I am sure some people will.

Name: Kyle
Location: San Antonio, TX
Time Playing: 10 years or so
Main Marker: ATS AT-10 (my stock-class CCI Pahntom sees nearly equal use)
I have been playing the role of 'sniper' since 2002 or so, after I got tired of playing recball at the local field. I find myself most often on the front lines in close quarters with the opposing squad. I love tactics and usually serve as an integral part of our team's planning operation.
I hope to learn much here and to give some back as well. This sport has already given me much (I used my ghillie suit and a shotgun to catch a stalker a couple years ago, you may have seen it on various car message boards) and I hope to stay with it for a long time. I've been out of things for a while because I have infant twins, but I'm hoping to be back at it by this fall.
