Welcome, adapt and apply the gear you have to the given task, no gear will do the job for you, as of yet.
I like your attitude, again welcome, hope you find some useful stuff, and give others some too. Again welcome.

Hey All, the names Steven. Ben playing on and off for about 9 years now, speedball and woods, only reason there are gaps are teams falling apart and the whole college thing (like now). I have owned a lot of guns, right now its a t9.1 and a t8.1 for good measure. Really like the idea of the site and what I have seen so far, very helpful since I am new to the FS, not necessarily new to sniping but really looking to get into it when i can get out of here, so I hope what I learn here can help me hit the ground running. Thanks for the invite and look forward to exploring the site!

Name: Graham "half-gram" Current Marker: tippmann a-5 with freak barrel and response Past Markers: tippmann sl-68 2, tippmann 98 custom, spyder victor 2, spyder e-99, Time Playing: about 10 years off and on Team Affiliation: no specific teams just guys I know Other: I jumped over here from OSOK PSG. Things slowed down over there but they will always be my first home. I play a long range support setup more than sniper nowadays. My back and knees are to wacked to sit or lay for long periods. I still love my long range though.

YES, a fellow A5 owner...we shall never die!!!!!!!!!
Welcome Snpr13 by the way. So you believe in the Freak barrels to? I'll have to break down and get myself one or two someday.
Quick question: hos is/was your SL68? I have been wanting to get one for quite some time.

I actually am a J&J guy and was looking at there edge kit. When I picked up this a5 I went to my local shop to order one and he talked me into the freak. This is my first multi bore kit and I love the he'll out of it. As far as the sl68 2 if you can stand the pump (which is a ***** when your prone mind you) it's the greatest gun I ever played with. I've beat the piss outta mine. Once dropped it in a creek lost it in it for a week. Pulled it out gave it a quick clean and it fired

I must be old fashion or something, but I LOVE the rush of only having one shot to take the enemy out before I have to "reload". pups (in my mind) are always better....they'll make you a better player.

Hey all,
Been scoping out the forum for a while now, lots of good info. I have recently swapped my gear around to assume more of a sniper roll. Hope to learn a lot while I'm here.

I am 44 years old and have been involved with and or playing paintball since 1987, and up until 2007, I was running around airball fields with my Shocker chasing 15 year olds, After not really getting a chance to play over the last 5 years, I have watched the growth of MilSim paintball, and I like the idea of getting back to the woods. I especially like the role of sniper, and the advancements being made to First Strike-ready markers, I am really starting to get the itch. To show my appreciation for finding and being accepted to this sick forum, I palyed around in PhotoShop a little and put together an idea for the header for the A.C.E.S. Sniper Talk forum. Please take a look and let me know what you think: www.davidhewittdesigns.com/acesheader.jpg
