I think that header reflects really well on this forum. I like it.

I'm watching you from afar. Don't worry, though. I'm not one of those creepy stalker types. :D

Hi there, everyone. Nessy here. Fairly new to the sniping world. Figured it is standard practice to introduce myself here so everyone knows who I am. Name: Stephen "Nessy" Ness Current Marker(s): None right now except my Metadyne. Had to sell off most of my gear due to bills, but with a reenlistment bonus coming my way, that will soon change! (I see a SAR-12 in my near future. ^_^) Past Markers: Tiberius T 9.1, Metadyne Havock, BT TM-7, Tippman A-5 Time playing: About 5 years now. First year I just went and played with friends. Joined up with a team, but recently had to leave due to personal issues with some other members. Team Affiliation: Southern VA Special Operations ( Team SOVA) 2008-2012 Other Info: Played as a dedicated sniper role in one game (Adventure Beach Paintball's "Road to No Ends 2012") and managed to walk away with the Sniper MVP award. Before getting into sniping, I was strictly a demolitions player and wreaked havoc on tanks at Fulda Gap every year since 2008, winning multiple AT awards including AT MVP at Fulda 2009 for NATO. ^_^ I am looking forward to really getting involved in the forums as well as the sniping community. My ultimate goal is to compete and actually do well during a TPS competition. Also, I plan on wreaking havoc at Fulda Gap this year as well. Hello everybody,
I am new to the forums (obviously) and wanted to introduce myself.
Location: Tacoma, WA, USA
Time Playing: 7 Years
Markers: T9.1 Elite, Spyder Pilot ACS
Team: I only play walk-on games with my friends at local courses, and not incredibly often. No team as of yet.
Other: I've been playing with my full-auto Spyder for years now, but recently acquired my t9.1 which changed my view on how to play. Less is more!
I am looking forward to becoming a productive member of this forum! I have also recently joined the Tiberius forums.

Welcome aboard. I've had the flu since last Thursday! Will this ever end. Didn't try to do any school stuff. Just reread Chicago's words of wisdom in the "Fulfilling a promise..." thread. Loved the attitude section, I never thought of that. And, yes there are millions out there screaming "check yourself" at first I thought it was some male flurtatious grunt. Now I know differently! Trust me, if I get hit I scream out, "HIT."

This seems to be quite the entertaining forum, and I've certainly enjoyed reading through Chicago's musings. There is quite a bit of useful knowledge on here, especially to someone like me who is very new to this whole "sniping" thing.
I've always wanted to perform a sniper role since I first started playing paintball, and now I have that chance thanks to my new T9.1! Mag fed is going to be weird at first, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Greetings one and all. New to the forum here but not new to paintball. I'm not gonna repeat what has already made it to print about me, so if you want a little more about me click this link: www.sovaspecops.com/members.php?muid=372To go into a little bit that doesn't reflect in the link info. I am friend and former teammate of this forum user Nessy. If you look back at Nessy's intro you might note that he mentioned having no markers at the time of that post. That's because I bought his T9.1 Having been a stealthy kinda guy most of my paintball career I am now deeply delving into the marksmanship side of things as the technology of the paintball industry is quickly catching up with my engineering dreams and making true paintball snipers a reality. Thus, making it possible to zap fools in the goggs from stupid distances. I love this game! In addition to being an avid player, I have become the primary scenario writer for my current team's home field, The Swamp Paintball Park, in Hayes Virginia. I now have 4 successful scenarios under my belt with my 5th, and first 24hr event, being hosted in Oct. 2013. That's me in a nutshell.

New member to this forum...hoping to pickup some first strike and optics knowledge. I've been playing off and on since ~1996. I used to haunt Warpig and the Tinker's Guild as "2xFast"...but when I traded in my auto-response Automag for a sterling pump the "2x" handle just seemed like a lie Current gearbag includes a pump Automag and a shiny new DYE Assault Matrix. The Automag is pretty straight forward. Solid as a hammer. The DAM is really why I'm here. Two different paint types presents a real challenge for getting on target with the first shot. I'm also hoping to get into the big game/ woodsball scene.

Good luck to you, I', sure you'll find something useful here, and if there's questions on your mind, just ask, we'll answer to the best of our ability. (as for the dam with different paint, I'd suggest crono and sight in with FS, then learn the holdover for round paint, given the round should be slower(hope I'm not misremembering here) and have more of a arc but its the best way to stay legal and have max accuracy with the first strikes. There is however people with more experience on the dam than me, and this is definitely worth a own thread, so feel free to start one)
Again, welcome and have fun.

Hello Everyone,
I was just given your forum location and I will be lurking around the forums looking at all the cool things you are all doing with your guns.
I have been playing since 1984 and have owned and operated Engler Custom Paintball Guns for the last 10 years.
I have made many different gun designs over the years.

Welcome to the forum. I have drooled over Engler guns for as long as I have been playing this game. Glad to have you here. Any plans to make a custom first-strike sniper rifle? In any case glad to have you here. I am a fan.
