Surprised this hasn't come around already. I see a lot of faces, some I know and some I can't place right away. Chances are it's the same for you and ideally that would be the case. I'd hate to think that we just collected a few people from one area and moved them to this forum. Hell that'd almost be tragic...

So as you've probably guessed by now, one of my callsigns is Archangel.. the other being "Enigma." I play with the Orange County Mobile Infantry, and they thought the name Enigma was fitting (can't tell you why of couse.) I got the name Archangel from a group of guys I use to play with up in Northern California. They joked that I always showed up at the right moment to outflank the baddies. The name just kinda stuck and I've hung on to it to remember where I've been.
I've been playing paintball for about eleven years now though when I'm not on the field you'll likely catch me out and about practicing my trade/hobby of photography. I'm currently trying to enter the world of fine art landscape photography and will be obtaining my Masters of Fine Art in a couple of years. Ideally I'd like to teach one day possibly write a steampunk flavored novel.

Hi all, I'm Lt.Col.Vortex( on my forums) but my call sign is just Vortex. I have been into paintball for 8 years now, but actually got my first gun 4 years ago( sad I know). I play with my 2 brothers and my dad. We all have V call signs, Venom, Viper, Vortex, and Vengar. We don't have a team name yet. We mostly use paintball as training for the real thing, but it usually turns into being a game for us. Living on an acre and a half and living around 200 more acres, I have never played on a field, nor major event. Its usually just friends and family.
I live in south east GA, Camden county.My job is who is in house repo(ins hort). I am a skilled craftsman and trades worker, and a small engine mechanic. I am also into star gazing and astro photography.
Almost forgot. I shoot a tippmann A5( my dream gun). I'm working on a custom mag feed system for her.

Playing @ 4 years mostly outlaw with more and more field and scenerio play.
3 A5s
Been on A5og for a few years and more recently joined X7og and milsim-empire
I wanted to play paintball for the last 20+ years but was heavily involved in MX racing which consumed ALL of my time.
Now I finally get to "scratch that itch".
I have been trying to decide on a First Strike compatible marker but my local field does not allow use of FS rounds and to invest in a set-up just for outlaw is hard to justify.
My play style is much more sniperish than anything else and have been called "sniper" many times. I guess because I don't shoot 10+ BPS on ramp mode!
I have been training myself to pull the trigger less and less and focus on tactics.

Past markers: I've only ever sold one marker, a T9 elite ST. Time playing: about 9 years Team Affiliation: none, I've only played a few times at an "official" field, otherwise I play with people I know Other: I've worked misc jobs for the last 5-6 years but next on the list is to become a machinist. and "playing" paintball for me is only 40% of the fun to be had in this sport, the 60% that is the most fun is teching/modding paintball guns.  |
