That teenage hate... I don't know what to say, I just pity them. Its not like we'r flaming them for shiny chromed markers with self made graffiti on, to each his own, sometimes they even look good Maybe someone got hit by a first strike to many times

Some of my latest updates on the DAM. Increased barrel length (2" fin, 4" HH linked to 14" HH with Flasc suppressor with 5" double ported insert inside), made a weaver mount for the Vendetta, Harris bipod, working on the Iphone scope mount, moved q-loader up to hopper adapter for troubleshooting the breaks (think I've figured it out), and removed stock so I can fit the 22ci tank.

I would have to say it depends. Being that is new, they seem to have their share of problems. Dye seems to be very good with helping to sort them out though. It is a great "do everything" type of marker. With the qloader I modified, I have plenty of firepower for cqb and can easily switch to FS's. I would highly recommend a HH barrel though if you get it and want to shot FS's, the smooth bore that it comes with didn't impress me, it's great for regular paint though. It is highly customizable although Dye has not released any new accessories other than what originally came out when the marker did. Rumor has it they are working on a box mag and an air-in-stock and/or air-thru-stock. Both will be a great addition to it. It also automatically turn itself off after 10 minutes of non-use so if you play a lot of scenarios or take a long time between shots, keep that in mind. Another problem some people have is trying to fit a scope and a hopper on at the same time.
It seems like a lot of love / hate relationships with them. I have done a lot of work with mine to get it just the way I like it (and will probably continue to make changes, just the way I am) and I love playing with it. It is very heavy the way I have it set up.
Also as a side note, if you want to be the center of attention, it seems to draw a lot of attention.
There are a lot of reviews out there on them and I would highly suggest reading them to make sure it is the marker you want. They definitely are not cheap. Hope I haven't rambled to much, if you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them the best I can.

Did a bunch more upgrades. A lot of this is going to move onto the SR1 hopefully and the DAM will go back to being more of a regular PB marker with FS capability. Bushnell Yardage Pro w/ built in laser rangefinder HHA Optomizer 20 MOA riser rail 20" HH barrel I also picked up a butt pad with a built in, retractable monopod for when I hopefully get a SR1. It won't fit on the stock that's on my DAM right now.

That is simply gorgeous. I really like the scope. I have the Nikon M223 and I am very happy with it, but the Bushnell is a great scope.
I know Bill. The demand for the 2nd gen. SR1 is pretty high so I expect that almost any day I will hear he has gone into production on it.
For a long time I have thought that the ideal scenario marker duo would be the SR1 and the Dye Dam because while I love the long-range stuff, occasionally I just have the urge to do the up-close stuff. That set up would allow me to scratch both itches and still use first strike rounds.
