I bought a multi-cam boonie and want to start wearing it with my mask. A fellow player in my area does the same but contact with him has been light over the summer.
1. I see that I prolly need to remove my visor from my mask. 2. I am wondering how to fit the headband in on this arrangement. Obviously it goes under the boonie ? 3. I have some brown and green burlap I have used on my marker(s) before, am wondering if strips etc would help break up the shape. Guess I will start trying some pieces on it. 4. without buying traditional concealment accessories, what other goodies have folks tried when using a vest/~ghille materials ?
TIA R-dawg

Here's how I did my boonie.....also cut out the top of the hat to let the heat out just leaving an "X" for support and to sew the mesh into. It works good, just have to be careful about snagging on branches.

I added dyed jute twine around one of my woodland boonies to give me some texture, break up the outline of my head, and protect the base of my skull in the unfortunate chance that someone actually got behind me. Forgive the low quality of the pic, it was with the forward facing camera on my phone in my basement.
