Hey everyone (all both of you who still visit here!).
I am finally at the point where I have the need and means to purchase an optics setup for my ATS. Before I pull the trigger on eBay/Amazon/my local PB shop, I figured I'd ask here and see if anyone had any feedback or suggestions on my proposed items.
Marker: ATS AT10
Barrel: Direct threaded Hammerhead rifled (11")
Scope: Parker Red Hot 3x32 multireticle (NON ILLUMIMATED)
Mount: AccuShot Premium 1-Inch Weaver Style See-Thru High-Pro Rings (Cheap off Amazon)
Tank: Ninja 13/3k
----
I am planning to use this for a while to hunt in the 40-70 yard range. I'll add some form of adjustable rail after I get comfortable with this setup. I am not great at identifying ranges yet, so I'm also considering a Simmons 600 LRF. It has a 20mm eye relief, which is pretty short, but it's about as good as I've found on hand held units.

I have a Hawke XB1 with a quick release mount and Dr. rail on top that I don't use anymore since I have the yardage pro. It is painted but in great shape. It has the illuminated SR receptacle. Here's the link to it.... www.hawkeoptics.com/hawke-xb1-crossbow-scope-15-5x32-sr.htmlI'll sell it for $150 shipped if you are interested in going that route. It has a lens cover on the eye piece and a kill flash on the other end which will help to protect from a direct shot to the lens. The crosshairs are sized where you could use it as a rangefinder based on mask size which would give you a quick, ballpark range. I've found it fairly difficult/annoying to try to carry a rangefinder or night vision monocular but that may just be me. Here's an old pic of it, the paint is stone textured spray paint and could be removed fairly easily. You can run a red dot on top like the eotech I have on it for those cqb moments when there's no time for a scope.

I run the XB1 and can vouch for its use. On my T9.1 I can scope out a player and after 1 shot for distance check usually pick him/her off next time they pop out !
150 shipped is a good deal.

Third endorsement for Hawke Optics here. I went with the XB30 on my ParaPro after trying, unsuccessfully, to come up with a precision method of shimming a rifle scope. It, the XB30, allows you to dial in your scope to your velocity, and the reticle allows you to adjust for distance quickly. I do not use an adjustable riser and carry a Bushnell rangefinder (also designed for crossbows/archery). If in a hide/static position I will develop a range card, but I am also pretty good with distances on the move. Do not worry, you will find a technique that works effectively for you over time!
Good luck sir and happy hunting!
