Hi everyone. First off thumbs up for being able to post without signing up right away. So I haven't been playing the game of pant ball for the past 3 years basically. I am up to date with all the goodies but i lack a bit of knowledge on a few things. Or should u say user experience.
I have ran through numerous styles of marker setups and gameplay styles to know what i like. Basically i plan to get a milsig m17 cqc and shoot mainly first strikes. I plan on using regular paint only when i wanna go crazy and play really aggressive. But IM sure there will be times or with this marker i will want to shoot both while in a match.
My optimum all around barrel length is prob 14". I want to get all i can out of the fsr so i want a barrel designed just for them but if flexible to shoot paintballs ad well that be awesome. Ive never used a hh barrel and was head strong on the lapco fsr rifled barrel. But reading a few things around here makes me think twice. I also want it to be as silent as possible.
So im thinking of the new 8.15" hh fsr rifled barrel
to quite it down with a 8" hush shot with either a flasc or milsig silencer over it. Probably milsig since its cheaper and people here claim quiter. But i am concerned about the felt inside getting wet wen cleaning or rain play. This combo would give me an exposed barrel length of about 16" seeing that i will need a flasc adapter and the new milsig silencers only add an inch wen treaded on from the inside.
Next option would be same barrel and silencer just with a 5in flasc extender as opposed to the hush shot. Thus should get me down to about 13 -14" of exposed barrel.
So wat do u guys think? Any other barrel recommendations i should look at? And wat about getting the felt in the silencer wet? How does everyone like the air in stock deal or is remote line preferred? Thanks.
