Looks like the expected release date is Feb 17th!!! I can't wait to see some reviews on these. I will probably order a 4 pack of 18 FSR mags. I just wonder if the new 18-round FSR mags will also work with regular paintballs...i dont see why they wouldnt but they dont say on the website. If thats the case I might just get 2, 4-packs. If I carry 6 mags at a time it will give me 108 FSR's which will easily be good for a full 13ci tank. This is going to work out so much better than using the 10 round mags and needing to carry a bunch of ten round tubes to re-fill them at big games.

Yeah; I am also hoping that they hold standard paint.
Part of me knows its wrong but the other part of really wants to utilize a fully automatic first strike spraying machine. Five to seven round streams down range instead of semi sure helps the odds some when you got them in your cross-hairs. I think the Dye and M17 might be ussuring in a new age of automatic FSR gameplay. I know I would have trouble not over shooting with 'em. Then again if your using any magnification at all its entirely possible that your less likely to over shoot someone than your standard speedball player type.
Guess I am not sure what these new markers will do to the FSR scene. What do you think?

I think the cost of FSR rounds will limit their "over use" for the most part. I dont see speedballer types really getting into it. I just like the 18 rounds of FS in the mag so i dont have to change mags as often, lol. That and it will allow me to carry more rounds in big games. I read over on pb nation that the 18 rounds mags have a stiffer/stronger spring that allows it to feed first strikes but 'may cause issue's with brittle paint'(paraphrasing). I use valken graffiti for regular paint so i guess ill just have to try it out myself or wait till the reviews come in. I see the 4-pack 18 FSR mags for sale on the canadian milsig site but cant seem to find them on any US ones. Might just order from Canada. Let me know if you see any US online retailers carrying the new mags.

I am waiting on my tax refund to hit and I will definitely be picking up a M17 CQC. Still very impressed with the HEAT core performance on the ParaPro and want to use the CQC primarily for mag fed round ball as well as FS. I am still not sure how I want to rig it. I have a reflex sight that I will definitely put on, but have not decided much else. I look forward to the 18 round FS mag simply for less reloading, but because I have 5x10 round mags for my sniper setup, I may not purchase extras. MILSIG continues to go the right direction for me. I may never buy another hopper fed marker at this rate!
