I have been thinking of maybe getting something like what the Biathlon athletes have for their rifles and the backpack mode on this one seems right.

I'm not endorsing it.
Just thought I'd share new product.
I like the Magpul MS2. I purchased quite a few slings trying to find the right one. That was the right one for me!
Oh, and if you like it, search for the MS2 not the MS3 version. The MS2 swivels as well; the MS3 does not!
