For, the first time, I'm not writing a review on something, I'm asking some help. One thing I have not purchased or had the chance to use is a riffled barrel from milsig. I'd like to try one; but, I've spent so much money and got some real duds, crap paintball stuff lately so I don't want to throw good money after bad.
Anyone have anything good to say about the milsig barrel? I do have an awesome milsig silencer!

The only good thing I can say about it is that it's the only barrel that fits the t8 with rifling that I'm aware of. I cut mine down so I didn't have a long, threaded barrel sticking out and I'm not all that impressed with the performance. That may or may not be because of cutting it down. I'll have to dig it out of my truck once I take time to unload from Supergame and I'll try to compare the size to the HH's I have. I'm guessing that the one for the t8.1 would be the same.

The only barrel I can talk about is the stock milsig barrel for the Paradigm Pro. I know that it is overbored (.691 from the website). It was fairly accurate up to about 30 yards, but beyond that, it started getting a bit wider in groups. The Hammerhead I put in is giving me much tighter groups. I guess it would be pretty good for a pistol out to about 25-30 yards.

When you say T8, do you mean it or a T8.1 cause, hammerhead and lapco and milsig make them for the T8.1

no, when he says t8, he means t8. However, hammerhead breifly made a rifled barrel for the T8 series. Milsig is the only current manufacturer making rifled barrels for the T8/9 series markers.

I was just trying to understand;cause, the title of the thread asked about a T8.1 so I wasn't even sure why he was talking about a T8 here. I thought may be it was just an abbreviation. Cause of course, the two barrels (as I know you know) are not interchangeable!

I was just referring to the milsig barrels in general. I know it won't fit in the t8.1 but I am assuming that the rifling and bore size are most likely the same. So much for trying to be nice and give you at least one response on something as close as I can to what you're looking for...hmmm....maybe I can pull a Chicago and direct this thread in an entirely different direction....

I wasn't sniping at you, DJ, only asking a question. I was a little distrubed at SkullCandy , the famous moderator for misdirecting it more.
But, as long as you are looking to do a Chicago (which is help other ballers out), Do you have any experience with MILSiG riffling of any type? Is it worth the look or not! At least Nessy answered answered politely with his knowledge!

Well for what it's worth, here are some comparisons of my standard (not tiberius) HH barrels and the T8 Milsig barrel. HH measured at widest point... Milsig measured at widest point.... Side by side, Milsig on left... Inside Milsig.... Inside HH.... Milsig is much larger and in my opinion, you're better off with HH or Lapco, unless you don't have a choice like on the T8 or T9. The rifling also doesn't look like it rotates as much with the Milsig and is not as agressive, big difference in feel when you stick your finger in and feel the ridges.
