Finally got my T9.1. Picked up my package, and noticed everything to be really loose. Didn't want to shake it, but upon opening it up, the shopper sent it with one paper towel as the only packaging and sent the gun in pieces so everything was hitting each other and bouncing around. The lapco t9.1 str8shot 9" .686 barrel, the hammerhead muzzle tip, the stock mock suppressor, the gun itself, the tac rail mount with 45* degree mounts on both sides, a terribly terribly beat up NcStar laser and flashlight, one magazine with the red first strike spring to accompany it, a aftermarket collapsible stock, and the air in stock as well.
Though, he told me it was a hammerhead barrel, but it was lapco. He told me I'd get two magazines, but I got one. He told me the laser and flashlight worked, they don't. And... the threads for the barrel to lock into the inside of the gun are gone. Just aren't there. I tried for almost an HOUR just trying to get the barrel on, looking up every YouTube video and every forum post, but how can it lock when there's nothing for it to lock into...
Questions
1) Will the lapco str8 shot shoot regular paintballs just fine as well? Or if I want to be able to shoot normal + FS, should I get a hammerhead.
2) The missing lock in system... That's not an accessory of the gun. Has anyone heard of this before? I'm assuming I have to send it in to Tiberius.
All in all, after assembling the gun to the best of my ability, I know I'll love it. Just feels so nice. Unfortunately the gun is sort of dinged up in places, probably because of the shipping. The shipper's excuse was that "it was his first time shipping a gun" which just says a little bit about his intelligence as a whole. ALSO, shot some first strike rounds out of an ego11 and geo2 at the field. GOOD LORD I'm excited to play with them. Was speechless after the first few shots!
