Just wanna add my 2 cents in this section of the forum.
I recently had the pleasure toying with the Hawke Optics XB1 that was mounted on the MilSig Paradigm Pro I got on loan from Nessy. What a great scope for our purposes and applications! However, in searching for this scope I found it for around $300 retail. Me being the budget sniper that I am, I needed something that was comparable to the XB1 w/o the Chuck Norris like round house kick to the wallet. What I found was the Parker Cross Bow Red Hot Multi-Reticule 3 X 32 scope. It was around $150 retail at Bass Pro Shops but I was also able to find it cheaper than that online from a few sources. I was impatient and got the one from BPS. Half the cost, all the same features of the XB1 reticule and it is also illuminated in red and green. Check it out here:
I was able to quickly set and level the scope on my T9.1 and do some practice shooting at my local field. I chrono'd at 300FPS and set out to sight in at 20yds. I was a bit right and 3 inches high. I uncapped the adjustment knobs and found, much to my happiness, finger dials for setting the windage and elevation adjustments. No tools or spare change required to adjust! Excellent!! I dialed in a few corrections within about 10 seconds. A few more shots put the zero at 20yds within a 3 inch grouping. Not too shabby. I let out the range to 40yds and found the second reticule was also right on point. Another 3 shots but this time in a 4 inch group. Again, not to shabby. At that, I ran out of time for the day and had to depart to attend to other things. So, I didn't get to test any greater ranges than that. But, I am sure results would be similar.
As I look forward to attending an event at Adventure Beach Paintball next weekend, I have been enlisted to fill a sniper's role for this game. Most clear shots I will have here might not exceed 50yds at best. Though there are a few places that the lines of site are 80-100yds. If I get to pop a few off at some OPFOR in those spots I will let you all know how well the scope performed for those ranges.
In closing I just wanna say that there isn't enough good things I can say about this scope thus far. Good price, great performance, and I am happy with it. Feel free to check it out for yourselves. That is all, carry on.
