T9.1, Lapco/TA 683 barrel, 1 inch raisers, APRv2, XB-1 scope, 5 mags. Chrono at local shop at 270 two nights ago. 13ci regulator set at 460.
The field I played at today wasn't very conducive for sniping (at least for a greenhorn sniper). Lots of tall thick brush, no man-made bunkers (only large cottonwoods). I looked hard for some 40-80 yard shots but couldn't find any. I played 3 games then went back to round ball. I am contemplating that this type of field is best suited to CQB as most kills resulted at 20-30 yds.
I was test shooting after game 3 against another player with a AXE and he was shooting as far as I was with less arc (about 50 yds down the wash ). The FSR's were true-er side-to-side than round balls out of the AXE, however it just seemed like there was a hell of an upward arc I am wondering if I need to work more on scoping this out at far distance.
On a positive note, the XB-1 is a sooo clear. I was amazed at the clarity with a mask on.
Signed, disappointed :-)
