So my Para Pro is currently en route to Adventure Beach Paintball in Charleston, SC for some on field action. WhiteFeather will be using it as a sniper rig, so he will be shooting nothing but FSRs all weekend. Also, it is expected to be very rainy on Saturday, so I will get info on how it works in wet, cold weather as well. Once he gets back and gives me info, I will get a write up to put on here for you all to enjoy.

Did a sight in on it today at 30 yards. Results were mixed with a heavy leaning toward high and right. A few adjustments to the scope and it was singing a song of dead on accuracy. Pushed a **** out to 47 yards from the same prone position, verifying range to target with a laser rangefinder. Totally missed the target. Adjusted the HHA optimizer to add an additional 20 yards on the angle. Dead nuts!
More to follow when game is over. I have day game to play through, a mag fed event, and night play to plow through tomorrow. Weather effects pending.
White Feather - out!

WhiteFeather posted on his facebook that he had 41 confirmed kills as well as earning the Special Services award for his sniper play. Congrats to you, WhiteFeather! I am looking forward to all the stories you have to tell me as well as your review of the marker in battle field conditions. ^_^

Marker looks great and a great writeup. I have been considering a T4.1, but this marker has me strongly reconsidering my investment. Where did you order it from? Everything I see indicates it is still in pre-order?

I ordered mine through Hustle paintball, but I would recommend against ordering from them due to the fact that they dragged their feet on every other order I placed. I know that you can order them through milsig.ca and I am sure you can get it faster than I got mine. Also, milsig.ca gives you the ability to build a custom package with extra mags, add ons, tanks, barrels, etc. I would vote against the T 4.1 only because Tiberius has had issues with support for the original T4 and I am sure that the same will be said with the 4.1. You can also look into the SAR 12 as it is roughly the same price as a Para Pro with tank. You just gotta find what fits best for you and there are plenty of FSR ready markers out there now that you have plenty of choices at your disposal depending on what your specific needs are. Personally, I love this marker. I just rezeroed it in at 25 yards and its shooting amazing. White Feather used it on the field this past weekend and racked up 41 kills. Its durable, accurate, and is well built. The only downside is that its heavy, but if you are strong and dont mind the weight, it is a great FSR platform to build on. Happy Hunting! ^_^

My T4 kinda liked to chop standard paint. Para Pro for sure. That or the T15.

Quick update! I managed to get the Para Pro out and do some shooting at 40 yards while I was testing out my modified TM-7 I just made up. It was chronoing low (around 265 fps), so it took me some time and plenty of FSRs to get it back up to shooting 278+/-2, but I finally got it there. Now, I don't know if it was the fact that Milsigs don't like cold, or the way I was shooting or what, but I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the grouping at 40 yards I shot with it. Here are the results of that shooting earlier today. 4 in the circle, 2 more outside but still on paper, and the other 4 missed slightly left of the paper as you can see. Honestly, the 40 yard grouping with the TM-7 was much more impressive than this grouping, even though the Para Pro's overall grouping was 16"x15". That is still an impressive group at 40 yards. Again, I don't know if if was the cold or what, but I was honestly hoping for a much better grouping than this one. I will try again at longer ranges once the SAR 12 gets in and I get more FSRs. I am sure that once the weather warms up, this thing will be a beast and my main go to marker. (The TM-7 and SAR 12 will be specialty rifles depending on the mission and situation. The Para Pro will be my every day carry rifle.)

Is the marksman barrel you are using riffled? If not, that could very well be the problem. The stock barrel on the DAM is smoothbore and I was not impressed at all with the FS pattern, with the riffled, it is way better.

Yes, the marksman barrel is rifled. Molding claims that the rifling on their marksman barrel matches the FSR exactly. I think it was more of the fact that is was cold and the rounds were flying a little squirrelly. I am sure that when it warms up a little, the groupings will get better.

nessy, I read somewhere on this forum that we need to allow the FSR rounds to stand in tubes front tip down to allow the paint to settle for best accuracy. I was wondering if you had done this? Could be the reason they were flying squirrely. I am still learning about these rounds myself...just thought I'd ask. From a ballistics standpoint it makes complete sense.

It does, ghost. I had thought of that, but these rounds were sitting in their box and I never set them out. That is probably the reason they were flying a bit squirrely. You are absolutely right. I think that for my next round of testing, I will let them settle nose down the night before I go out shooting. I need to go find some tubes to store them in. lol

Thanks for posting the details of your tests. As for tubes, what's wrong with using the paint pellet tubes we use to use? Nelson Paint still sells them - www.nelsonpaint.com/1210E.html
