Any ideas on how to correct this ? its spot on other than this. I have run out of MOA adjustment. It is about 6-8 inches of left at 20 yds. TruGlow xbow scope. All mount points seem fine/solid. Could it be the scope rings are too tight ? Back everything off and try re tightening (did this once) ? TIA S

Left to right, I've never run out of windage adjustment. That's not right and not by 6 inches as 20 yards! Could be the scope rings are they a matched set? Did they come mounted on the scope?
How are you firing it. Handheld or at least an bipod? Is there a cross wind where you are firing. Lets start with those questions first. Oh and if you turn the opposite way, does you pattern move out farther?

Rings came with the scope. I havent dropped it. Been carefully handled since bought. No wind where I am shooting. Kneeling with hand on foregrip braced on a chair.

Check the top rail for alignment and misshape or debris, then check the ring mounts, be very thorough when checking them, try pressing front left side of scope mount when tightening mount (it sounds right in my head, but if i thought the wrong way you hopefully get the idea). Putting a small piece of tape on one side when mounting the rings might also help you out as a last resort (McGyver shimming). It might also be possible to shim between the scope and the ring, but I this is a last resort since it might theoretically become unstable as the rings don't have even pressure all around.
If possible also check whit another sight to try to narrow it down to either the marker or the sight.
As for the rings being too tight, I believe that you would see some damage on the scope tube.

I am familiar with the instructions. AND I even tried turning the windage the other direction to make sure it wasnt backwards. No workee... moved the hit even farther to the right than before.
Ill try some McGiver shimming after another dis-assembly tomorrow... might have to buy the XB30 or XB1 sooner than I thought (after I try to return this scope to Bass Pro shops) !

May be "Bass" carrries the XB1. In that cause you can take it back there and exchange it. I think it sounds broken. I had a Hawke red dot that was like that. I could not get 10 yards away before elevation crapped out! I sent it back for a refund!

XB30 does not handle as much range; but what's 40 more yards between friends, and, the XB1 is cheaper too. If I buy another scope, it would be the XB1!

The XB1-SR looks like the ticket. 199 bucks, and I found it for 169 on ebay from a Kentucky vendor. I might log on and off over the next few days to see if I can find it cheaper anywhere.

Just ordered the XB1 1.5-5x32 (HK3259), from and ebay store for 169, free shipping. Anxious to have a REAL scope. 10 yd intervals out to 100 yds, vari speed.... I wonder if I will need my APR under this scope ? Anybody running Hawke scopes without and APR or FSR ?

RedArrowArchery.com has it for 148.99 with free shipping... www.redarrowarchery.com/hawke-155x32-crossbow-varispeed-scope-p-69099.htmlI have one and I use it without any riser. I haven't taken time to get it sighted in all the way yet, but you shouldn't need a riser unless you need more height to see thru it with goggles on. It will also depend on what starting yardage you use, the instructions say to start at 20 yards but I'm going to be using 30 yards and I have my eotech that will work for anything closer, not enough time to deal with a scope at those close ranges anyways. You might want to look at a kill flash for it. I picked up an airsoft one and modified it to fit. It will not only help kill the flash, it will also help to protect the lens from a direct hit.

But, these scopes are now in the range a lot of people used to pay for a cheap NcStar scope made in China and not for paintball either.
Life is good.

Chicago, I'm not in school today. Before you start lecturing me, (its Lincoln birthday), all kids have off today. Did you realize we have less than a year to go now? Yes, I'm counting the days til I'm sixteen and can join your posse or whatever they call themselves now.
You know some of the people here need to chill. There is nothing derogatory about "posse." If they are going to change their names have them change to something like "Chicago's Cadre." We are studing alliterations in school right now, can you tell?
Oh, and I learned in English class the other day (I call it english/spanish class, you probably haven't attended a public school in Chicago in awhile). Anyway, some star trek geek axed the teacher what a "cadre" was. And, the teacher didn't know. But one of the other kids used their Android, it means a "specialize group of fighters." How cool! I guess I am learning something!
