Well I would say they look like quality boots. Got them 3 days ago and quickly fitted the right boot on my foot because its a 1/2 size bigger than my left. Its a snug fit. I might have to return for a 1/2 size bigger. I did notice they are wide in the arch. I have a narrow foot. They also look to wide in the top of the boot (rise), as when I lace up the top there is little room to cinch em down. The laces have lees than a 1/4 inch of tongue between them. I dont have spindly legs but there not weight lifter size either.
Overall my initial impression is that if you are a barrel chested dude/dudette with wide feet and thick calves they would be a great fit. Otherwise they might be big in the calf and wide in the arch. However they are very lightweight despite having a steel shank. I rate these boots great on construction and weight.
I have some inserts Im going to try today. I telecommute on Mondays so I can wear them for a little while (on the carpet).

OK they are keepers. The sizing is good... that is to say if you wear a size 10 in tenies then a 10 will fit you in their boots. The length in my 1st quick evaluation is not a concern. I have no smashing in the toes.
They are wide on me but I have some supports I have used in other shoes. I do like these boots. I feel they will be great in our local scenario games. One of the fields here in Phoenix is partly in a wash, and there are large cobbles/river-rock there. Last game I played (all day) my feet were trashed form running in the cobble. I dont think I will have that issue anymore.

Do they come in a womans's size. I'm coming to the conclusion that paintball just wasn't meant for women!
Where did our mother's get them?
I'm sure Trinity remembers the saying, "Your mother wears combat boots." OMG, I finally realized why it was considered a bad saying back then. It was a clever way of saying your mother was a whore and she had earned herself some new shoes! My mind, I'm really so nieve. But, slowly, it's becoming a chicago mind.
That saying, it had nothing really to do with your mother's boots! Thank goodness Coralnerd isn't here to see that!

Today is your lucky day :-) www.dvor.com/footwear-clearance-99-2013-02-12.htmlI might add that I wore my boots for about 6 hrs last weekend in a game. They are, what I think 1/2 size too big. So if your ordering the same boots I would go a 1/2 size smaller than your normal size. Also this might be a good way to order any footwear in general... if you order a 1/2 size smaller, then you will know immediately when you put them on they are too small and can return for the next size up. On the other hand if you order your normal size its kinda hard to tell (till you get them out in the field) if they are too big. Then your not able to return because they have been worn and show it.
