I have a nightmare that I got when I was serving in the Finnish defense forces. The dream consists of me being in a great hurry, close to panic, and all my gear, all of witch seems essential, is all over the place and I can't seem to have enough hands to pick it all up.
In my panicked state and because of the great hurry, I don't have time to pack it up and the pieces of kit just keeps falling out of my hands.
Only once have I fund peace in this dream, and that is when I drop everything but the trusty assault rifle and the combat west and get into the fight.
What i came to realize later on was that the assault rifle and the west was the only piece of gear I was fully comfortable with, since I had the most training with it. So what ever you do get comfortable with your gear. To the point then. As most of you probably have experienced, paintball = a lot of gear and the sniping role even more so, in the form of extra ghillies and what not. I'm currently trying to get some kind of order in the chaos that is a mix of paintball, hunting, camping and all kinds of gear. So my question is this, how do you people store their gear, and what kind of bags or the like are you using? Currently my gear is sitting in boxes all over the place, and i have a ice-hokey bag to haul it in when going to the field, however I always tend do forget something witch results in me dragging a lot of loose gear to the car, this + the fact that i can't seem to find all the stuff I need usually results in me being late... Now I'm thinking of putting together a bug out kit that would be ready to go on a moments notice... My thoughts are wandering along the lines of something like this or this and a bag. Now suggestions would be greatly appreciated regarding all forms of storage and tips and tricks. Please do think out of the box also.. I'm trying searching on all kinds of solutions... corporate business to motocross to army... Now I do know that no piece of furniture is going to keep things tidy for me, but it might help

I have three bags. one big green canvas bag (that was what it was called in the store) contains all my clothes, air systems and non marker related items such as microfiber towels, regular towels and other usefull stuff. i also have a big plastic bag from ikea (70+Liters) in the green one that i put all dirty items in for the trip home, after i get home i clean things and put them back in the big green bag to w8 for the next game.
then i have a smal textile cooling bag (those that works by having plastic flasks filled with ice) that i keep my first strikes and something to drink in. (usualy move things like towels and such things needed in the safe zone to this for when the safe zone is a small area out in the field so i only have what is necesary during ongoing games with me.
then finaly i have a large rifle drag bag that can hold 2 rifles. in this i have my two markers and all tools, mags and other accessories planned to be used the next game (i change accesories before i travel to a game). I have a box for the other accessories i won't use.

Nice idea to separate it that way, I'll take a look at doing something similar, thx for the tip Oh, and chicago, "as the devil reads the bible" XD PS! one has to be careful with ones dreams, you never know what you will get.

"I myself do not." Hannibal Lecture.
I have only one over stuffed huge black leather duffle bag which includes an extra pair of old shoes, TP, and a towel and a roll of paper towels as well as allen wrenches, a lighter, extra box of first strikes, extra 13 cc tank and goggle cleaner. I carry my mask and marker separately (usually on me).

I was just musing about you and Allu. Now I'm not so sure. How do I know you are from Chicago. Every time I'm at fox river games, you are nowhere to be seen.

As far as at home storage I use a portable closet in my garage. You can pick them up cheap at walmart. I think I paid 20 or 30 dollars years ago. (I have 2. One for pb one for hunting) My marker, hopper, and barrel system goes in a marker bag that I picked up years ago somewhere. My mask, tools, extra clothes, a backup pair of boots and bdu's, remote line and 6+1, tanks goes in a mil style duffel that I picked up from mojors surplus and my vest gets strapped to it. And personel gear goes in a old backpack of mine. This usually includes a pack of lighters (I always lose them), mountain dew, phone charger, smokes, dirty mags etc

To keep your magazines clean, use 2 gallon size zip lock bags. My posse showed me this trick and I haven't had a dirty mag since!

I found a really elegant solution I must say... For hardware (marker related gear) I use a Stanley Fat Max toolbox bought at Lowes. It has 3 levels and folds out. Wheels for rolling like a suitcase. I love this thing. Bottom compartment I break down markers (A5 and T9.0 with FS kit-Lapco Barrel) and store there along with HPA tanks/hopper. 2cd level I store accessories, grenades, smoke, slings, belts, magazines, etc. Top tray is tools, undertray is barrels, tools, long items.
BDUs and soft goods go in a small duffel.
I dont think this is a good setup if you have a car as getting the toolbox in/out might be challenging, but for trucks/vans its great. Very stable platform at the field.
