A New Hope - not a star wars title

My Silent Knight lays gutted on the workbench. She's waiting on parts. A week ago, I had to stop my posse from burying her in the backyard. I let them watch the Frankenstein movie so now they understand about reanimation...

There are a bounce of new prospects. I heard from Eric of the Tiberius clan, that they had a bit of a snag; but I should see today my parts to make her whole again. I also saw on Moati's FB for Xtreme that they are shipping the FS mag extensions.

So, I haven't missed much of the new season yet and if they finally deliver on their promises, this weekend might still be a possibility! Although I seriously doubt it being as I'm so out of shape and will probably last one game may be two.

We, well I, complain a lot when things don't go my way. But, there are some good reasons for that. One, I'm old (like older than dirt), so I don't have a lot of time left - so don't waste my time. Two, I have no income any more so when I pay for something, I expect it to be delivered on time and not need a kilagillian more things to make it work properly or kinda like you promised!

And three, most importantly, I'm obsessed with playing paintball. I already missed opening day last week at one of my favorite fields in the Chicago area, Fox River Games! And if these people don't deliver again! I'll miss another week.

So, I'm the old man with a posse that keeps complaining when I don't get what I paid for. Maybe, it's just a cultural/different time thing. Back in my day, you gave someone money and they handed you your item. No pre-order cr@p! Where did that come from? And, when you said you'd deliver something, you delivered it - on time.

But, soon, I will die and you'll have to read my posts no more. In fact, why read them now, get out and play if your equipment is working! However, if its not and you are waiting on parts or equipment; then, help me complain!

My posse just came back inside after playing with the demon dogs...A little muddy still? Did you check the mail box while you were out there? What do you mean the dogs ate my parts!

Im not older then dirt and i think the same thing. Which is why i NEVER pre-order anything... why on earth would i pay for something that ain't out yet. Better to wait until they come out, have some people test it and review it. THEN i can order, and by my own rule i NEVER order anything unless it's sent at the latest the day after i pay. So far these things have served me well and everyone i've had dealings with , stores and private persons alike has always been happy.

my god... im almost ranting as much as Chicago... Btw. Chicago you can tell your posse that my fur is soft like the demon dogs. But if you compare us otherwise it's like comparing a Chihauas (demon dog) to a Wolf (wolfens). They can get to pat me though, as long as they're hot and naked.

Thanks, your wisdom has been proven out time after time. I had avoided the whole RAP4 Tacoma mag conversion kit thing for that exact reason. But, since the mag extensions were always hard to come by and to me, they would be cheaper than a new phenom, conversion kit, and then the D-mag conversion on top of that, I went for it.

I gleefully announced (in December of last year when I ordered the extensions) that I'd be running mags with more than 8 shots well before the D-mags were really out. I was so wrong!

Finally right @wolfen, if we are ever allowed back in Europe (there was that one incident with interpol, well actually two if you count that time in Amstrerdam); anyway, if we are ever over there again, my posse has made me promise to stop so they can "take you for a walk!"

Don't walk much... but if they wish to join me for a midnight run in the woods i'd be more then happy to have the company. I even know a small airstrip where they know not to ask too many questions so getting into Europe should be no problem
