Can anyone give me some detailed feedback on using the riffled barrel with 12 gram CO2's. For example, Can you still get 3 clips worth after jacking up the regulator for the tight riffled barrel fit with first strikes or does the accuracy only stay consistent with two? How well will it work in the cold say between 20 to 50 degrees F? Etc.......

These are great questions, and I wish I could better answer them. I'm in Southern California so I'm in a much different climate then you are. From my personal experience I can get about 2 first strike clips out of a 12g Co2. Depending on how wild the fluctuations have been I might be able to extend the clip into it's third life, but that's not a reasonable expectation. That being said, I only use the Co2 in worst case scenarios. Worst case are things like the field running out of air, or my tank leaking on the field. I find my 13/3000 tank gives me significantly more consistent results when shooting first strike, so I prefer to use it.
Again, I live in California where the weather can be anywhere from a comfortable 80 to a hot 105+. I'm sure you've considered the compressed air tank, so I won't tell you it's the option that most prefer. That being said, if it is an option for you I highly encourage it. You're spending the money for first strikes and the barrel, may as well get the best results right?
I'm sure some of our cold weather snipers could answer your question better then I have, so I leave it in their capable hands.
