Just a gee whiz for you. The name Ghillie comes from the name given to a mythical man-like creature in Celtic lore. The Ghillie Dhu or Gillie Duhb was a man-like creature that was said to be covered in hair, vines, and foilage (some even sprouting flowers a fruit).
How fitting that we wear a suit that makes us look like a mythical creature, when the paintball community considers us a myth.
