Tiberius - how long?

Well, I'm not sure whether to post this under Tiberius or in the Lounge or ...well anyway.

I just went to the Tiberius forum which is running amazing well for once. Actually only had to wait about a minute for a response.

I was going to post a question on how much longer Tiberius had. Obviously, the forum is dying; but I think the whole strangle hold they have on mag fed first strike markers will soon come to an end. And, then I wonder, "how long?"

You see if I posted this on that site two to three things might happen:

First - it might fail to post or double post
Second - tiberius zealots would jump on board and crucify me for blasphemy
Third - in the off chance that tiberius read their own forum, their management would go; see everything is fine

So, it would be a waste posting it there. So, why not post on UMS (which by their own fearless leaders admission is a dead site/company now). Because on UMS, the six grumpy old men that actually frequent the site (one of which is older than I am), would immediately attack me for not being "Christian enough" after twisting my words. So, I decided to post it here.

I think that once the mag conversion kits are proven to work and the new D mags really work with First Strike, the game will change again and that's that for Tiberius - but, for you die hards, don't start selling off your Tibs at bargain basement prices yet. I think that's a year away yet.

Don't believe me, check out the Mayan calendar instead Dec. 21, 2012. This is what the Mayan calendar is really predicting - First Strikes in D-mags and the end of Tiberius as we know it!

I don't think Tiberius will fail since allot of people buy for other reasons, but sales might go up or down. More people with fs capability= more fs sold, but less t9.1 sold. I just don't like the idea of every one using them; smokers should be the only ones.

I dont think their dying, of chores I dont follow them too well, but I dont see that happening. IF anything, Tibs will fall along the same lines as every other marker. They had their sine time, and with their new mag versions coming out, they mint have more shine time, but I dont think they will die completely.

When you boil it all down Tiberius offers a quality product. People like the T8 line of pistols. That won't likely change.

Does any one know why T4s are so expensive?

I think Tiberius has a military/law contract that revolves around the T4s.... I could be wrong about that, but if I'm not it would account for their high price. It also means they've got funding =D

i ended up selling my T4 because it was giving me too many problems, so for the price i wasnt liking it.

Yeah they're meant to be maintained as often as actual M4s. You can play with it for a day but you better be ready to strip it down when you get home.
