Since there is not a thread that is totally out there, I'll start one Today I was working on tearing down some scrap metal for processing. Well, behind my barn, there he sat, lurking around trying to get to my eggs. It was a shame I had to but the bag on him, cause he would have eaten some mice around my barn. But I have eggs that are mine and not his, so it was lights out for him Attachments:

Careful what you post, I'm strongly opposed to hunting. This doesn't bother me to much since he could cause problems.

you might be opposed to to hunting but for many it's a hobby. I suggest that if you do not approve of hunting at all, just stay out of this thread (i don't hunt myself simply because i think we're cheating with rifles, Bow hunting, there's skill) Give the animals equal chance of getting away ^^

hunting is not a savage act! the deer that cannot find food because of overpopulation suffer more than the ones I shoot! the habitat has become overrun and they move into areas that get them killed by cars and trucks or they starve! end of rant...sorry to offend...one or two people!

This seems like a pretty sensitive topic. Share your thoughts everyone, but know that for every philosophy there is an equal counter philosophy and both hold merit.

There's over population because all their natural predators have been killed off. Wolfs and bears used to range clean down to mexico, but no they barely get past yellow stone. The elk in some areas of yellow stone never actually leave the park. The is also no hunting there, and wolfs and bears live there. They have had relatively stable populations of elk for years.

I DO NOT sport hunt. I eat everything I kill. And if people get to frisky with me lively hood(family, garden, animals)...well you be the judge of what you think I'll do.
I am not a against hunting, I promote it. I think that man aught to hunt for his meat(not corner then kill), but also take what the earth gives in greens.

I'm not saying that it's the hunters faults that every thing is screwed up, I'm trying to say that it's not a valid excuse.

I think we get the point that men today do exercise there right in the area of killing, specifically animals. Even though we are permitted to do so, dose it make it acceptable to go on killing sprees, no. There are some men(I'd say most men) today that take advantage of there rights in hunting, I do not promote this, as i am sure the rest of you dont either.
Now if you are not a meat eater and you object to our eating preferences and how we "treat" animals, well I'm sorry. When you join a public forum, you must leave most of your personality and personal preferences as the door. Its just that way. You can t go around expecting everyone to adhere your beliefs and standards. Now here on the ACES, I think we have done a pretty good job of not being to slanted in our opinions( other than paintabll snipers exist). If you object to someones opinion or way of life, let them know. I'm sure they will apologize and not offend you again on purpose. But please do not try and make your point about how one of you is right or wrong(unless you start a thread with that point in mind).
