I heard of it on the X7 Operators Group from either archangel or skullcandy. I've noticed our numbers growing, so what forums did you all see us on and who directed you here?

Gather around kids, Papa Archangel has a story to tell you. The story of how the A.C.E.S. came to be. It was a long and distant St. Paddy's Day ago when Archangel's brother and he were drinking far to much Guinness and listening a wee bit too much to the Drop Kick Murphys.

Archangel's Brother, a little imp by the name of Thumper, wanted so desperately to ride into battle. Thumper was eager but still wet behind the ears. The two decided to unite their many brothers into a single purposed team in which they would cry havoc on the field of battle. The brothers and friends of theirs who were like brothers, would focus on small unit tactics involving the ghillie suit.

The idea seemed solid and soon the two began to come up with a name for this group. The good 'ol Irish boys they were, they settled on calling the "group" The Savage Clovers. It should be noted for a second time that Guinness WAS involved. Lots and lots of Guinness.

Alas, time withered Thumper's conviction and dear Archangel was left with nothing but ambition and his FLAMING RIFLE OF JUSTICE!!! During a scenario event in Southern California he began speaking with others who expressed their discontent over the fact that paintball snipers were treated as second class citizens. The conversation went on well into the night as the small group shared tactics and stories. At the end of the week they went their own ways though Archangel felt a longing to continue this gathering of minds.

The seed had been planted and with time it grew into an idea. There needed to be a way for snipers to come together and share their experiences without the constant ridicule that was found in the general paintball community. What little was already out there had been far too polluted with sniper fantasy and over indulgence.

We needed something new. We needed something different. We needed the A.C.E.S.

Well I found you guys by surfing the Tib forum.. I had already seen you guys tags on the specialops forum I believe and then on the Tib forum I kept seeing sig blocks everywhere that said proud member of ACES... so I was like hmmm I need to check that out... I clicked the link and spent the rest of the night reading all the content a guest has access to. It seemed to me that there are some very knowledgable/ helpful people here... so I joined up. Plus I needed a place to talk paintball sniper without getting the "looks" we are all used to.
