Fox River Games had a pump and pistol event today. I was trying to figure out were to start thread until I saw the tournament section.
Was great fun. I think that pistol and pump players are a really cool breed. I was a default sniper cause I was running first strikes in an MP7 shroud (its a t8.1 inside and they accepted that - it turned out I wasn't the only tib in a shroud - another ops gear mp7 was present as was a couple t8s and a t9.1 configured as a pistol). Saw another guy with single pistol that wasn't a tib, think may be a tippman).
I originally didn't mention it here cause this to me is more of a sniper forum and my mp7 is for cqb. However, when you add the fact that I only run First Strikes, it gives me range advantage. One of the quotes today was. "I knew you were out there but I thought you were to far away." Obviously, I wasn't, in this case, one shot one kill.
Another was from the ref at LL4, the one on the hill on Sunday, with the red, white, and blue hair (you've seen him on many of the you tubes). His fatal comment was, "I've never been hit by a first strike." I asked him if he wanted me to shoot him now or when we got on the field. He laughed. When we were on the field, he was on the opposite team, he stepped back from his bunker on the field. He learned what a first strike feels like (and, my first shot missed). Any way, great great times today.
Mods, should we post any tournaments here or just sniper tournaments, oh lord did it again, probably posted the wrong stuff on ACES.
