I just read again that someone was using windex to clean their lenses so i thought i would put up this warning for everyone.
DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF WINDOW CLEANING PRODUCTS ON YOUR LENSES!!! they have components in them that greatly weakens the structure of your lens. This means that the risk of your lens breaking or cracking when you get hit is a lot bigger. if you have used any kind of window cleaner on your lens please do not use it!, buy a new one and use just warm water and a micro-fiber cloth to clean it (that's all you need)
AGAIN DO NOT USE LENSES CLEANED WITH WINDOW CLEANER it's not worth losing your eyes.

I've also noticed on previous lens that it will remove some protective film and ruin it.

I know that with all the masks I've owned (VForce, JT, Proto, Invert) it says in bold print on the instructions "Wash with water" and for 3 out of the 4 I have been told by the attendant at the shop "Wash with nothing but water"...
I thought that this was common knowledge...I guess common sense isn't so common anymore

A lot of people think that its a scam for companies to sell you their own brand of lens cleaner. Its not. They don't contain ammonia and other chemicals that effect the film on the lens.
The best solvent to use on your lens is ..........
H2O
Water is by far the best on any lens. Period. Try getting an empty spray bottle and filling it with just water. Use that at the field.
Also, during cleaning, take the time to inspect the lens for cracks and damage. A crack on your inner lens (on fog free lens) will not hurt the lens. But your lens won't be fog proof anymore.
Finally, make sure to clean your lens after EVERY game. Even if you haven't bee hit in the mask area. Reason: any amount of paint that gets on the lens can weaken the plastic if left uncleaned. Now this takes a really long time to happen, but it would be best to take the mask apart and clean every game. Safety first.

Should rename this thread "Mask Safety".
Here's some more safety stuff (re-post):
You should never put glue on the lens. Period. Even if it just on the corner. The whole idea of the lens is to break evenly in the event of a total failure.... thus saving your eyes.
This is why you are NOT to put stickers on helmets, hard hats and other such safety items. When those life saving devices are impacted (falling off the motorcycle, falling objects, etc.) they are all designed to BREAK apart so that your skull does not. :-) ..... now, in saying this does the sticker on the lens hinder this process? I don't know, but I thought I read somewhere that they tested it and found the lens is still effective in being safe after an impact.
Besides, glue is a very dangerous chemical on plastics. Ever notice how methyl 2-cyanoacrylate, ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate attack plastics? Bad news. (https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Cyanoacrylate) I used to make plastic models and found very quickly that glues actually melt plastic. Any weakness in the lens that is not part of the design is an accident waiting to happen.

I usually just use water and a cloth to clean my lens.

Another point: Never, ever, ever, modify your mask by removing parts. Never substitute a non-paintball mask, like airsoft masks, or by just using goggles.
The one reason the sport is so safe is because we are required to wear a proper mask designed for paintball.
Also, always clean old paint from your goggles. Paint can weaken the lens if left uncleaned for a long time.
Also, check your lens for cracks. Its always better to spend money on a new lens than to lose your eyes.
