Well, it came in today. Just took it downstairs to get some pix. Wasn't too easy; but wasn't too hard to take apart (one pin decided it would not move). Slapped an old Tac 8 in just to see if it fit, it doesn't, (but could) with me and a dremel!. This is why I was considering PZ's used T8.1 pistol; but, I only shoot First Strikes (so the rail, the 2 non FS mags, even the red dot and the compensator, etc., didn't add value for me as you can see). I'll probably just go to Rockstar and buy a new Tiberius for $199 shipped (if I decide to continue this project- it will be a lot more work). Oh, I just realized I should see if a a TiPX would fit easier! I did hold it against my chest, it was very comfortable and light; but, there's not much on it yet! It looks so cool. Maybe just put it up for sale. I have to sleep on it! Probably a lot of dremeling but, I could even make it remote from what I can see! Any thoughts, suggestions, interest? Could be fun. Will try a tpx later today!

I'm thinking about going a little more conventional with the hydrodipping this time: Would go on the black parts (even the shoulder stock and tip), leave the handle FDE, and add flat dark earth accessories. What do you think? I think I'm going to have to start selling these things!

Quick update: Found a guy on facebook that just published a pix of this new shroud with a T8.1 inside. I asked him if he had to do much cutting and was there anything he'd do differently? All he said was he "had to cut the front end off the Tib." Not sure I feel like mutalating a Tiberius! Sounds almost sacriligous! If not, at least sexually perverse! Here's his pix, its the one in the middle:

Hey jazgeek or anyone who know how to get in touch with jazgeek (your pm box has reached its limit over on the Tiberius forum): I was considering having you do another hydrofilming. You did such a great job on the last one. I tried sending you a private message; but, your mail box here is full. So here goes: This one's a little different, its plastic Here's a couple pix: As a reference, here's a Tiberius pistol that went in the last shroud type you did for me to give you an estimate of its true size (very similar to last one): and, here's another exploded view. I only what main body done again (its black, not FDE like shown), that's what I'll ship. Maybe back stock doesn't come off in which case I'll ship that too but, I think it comes off! 1) Same pattern and color as before (if you have enough pattern left)? or 2) Do you have access to one of these patterns? If interested, please estimate pricing for me (remember, this is a lite weight plastic shroud).

I'm going to put the Roni on deep hold! Too much spending!
I also wanted to share something I posted over the the Tiberius forum. They've had this thread going on Cameras named "MaskCAM" if you want to go there to read more. But, I just wanted to share with you the stupid thing I did. I spent over $100 on a video cam:
"I'm finding these post very informative, thank you. Just before this thread got started, Woot had a sale on Centerpoint video camera with a picatinny mount. So, I bought one for only $29 (new and 720 HD I think). They claimed it was a lot more. And, it was an impulse buy cause I always wanted to tie one!
Well the back broke off right way so I couldn't use the pictanny mount that came with it; so, I bought a inch quick release scope ring. Camera fits fine and seems stable.
So, now I've doubled my cost and haven't used it yet. Then, there's the micro mini memory cards to buy. So, I'm over $100 bucks (not including batteries) and I have no idea what it will see when I'm out there cause it has a built in zoom; but no pix.
Reading your posts have opened my eyes and I now realize, I may have thrown away $100 US on a cheap camera (and, every dollar I spend on paintball is precious to me)!"
