Ok just over at the Tiberius Forum and I had an idea for running a t8 or t9 remote. Wondering if this would actually be feasible or not. So if the plastic no air mags come out for the T.1 series I was thinking how can you run these in the T8 and T9. I was wondering if you could fill in the back half of the magwell (where the 12g normally sits) with silicon then drill a hole just smaller than the remote line through mag adapter for the T8 mag. Then screw the adapter into the silicon to hold it in place. And to get the plastic mag to fit you would cut off the excess where the 12.g would fit in the normal mag so it fits snug beside the silicon. Just wondering if this is even feasible.

Umm....a little confused by your post but if I am reading it right, just get one of these... www.ebay.com/itm/Tiberius-Arms-First-Strike-Pistol-Remote-Air-Adaptor-Paintball-2328-/270822241117?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0e43735d That will allow you to run a remote on the T8 or T9. The only problem I came across when I had that setup was the remote comes straight out the bottom of the mag so when you are laying down, it gets in the way, especially if you are using a bi-pod. It also would jab into the dirt if I disconnected the remote to sit the T9 down on the bi-pod between games. I helped to remedy this by putting a 90* adapter on the remote end so it wouldn't stick down so far, if that makes any sense.....

Sorry I meant the remote line would not come out with the mag. That way you don't have the loud discharge of air. Only the front half of the mag where the paint is would come out when reloading.

The t9.1 is remote ready. The T8.1 has a remote adapter which I use. Comes out the back of the marker (not the mag). But, for T8.T9 I can't help. Running remote becomes very liberating. I'm glad I did it.

I run remote as well, it's allot cheaper. The only thing I miss is running around with only the marker and a mag or two. You feel light as air running. Well, I guess that's what you pay for when you use 12g.

You can't run a remote from a T9. I did a conversion of a T9 and learned a lot. The remote back block you require to adapt o a remote will not fit on the rear of a T9... I believe the T8 would fair the same.

There's no way to run a remote on a T8 T9 except the air through mag adapter. What I was wondering is if you could somehow mod the mag so the adapter stays connected to the gun instead of ejecting with the rest o the mag (mainly to get rid of the loud noise of degassing the gun). Basically if they ever come out with all plastic FS mags Id saw one in half and only keep the side that holds the paint. That way you could run remote more quietly and efficently (no wasted air in degassing).
