Awesome stuff, I'd love to see how well it works. And before anyone says anything, yes, silencers are illegal by most definition unless you go through the correct process. For the sake of argument we'll just assume that Wolfen has done that and is sharing his success stories with us. No need to mention the law here.
I'm thinking about adding a silencer to my inventory. A buddy that I play with made one for his mini. Saying it was "whisper silent" doesn't even begin. The only noise came from inside the marker itself. Pretty impressive.

Cool, I'll have to post up hear. I have made some in the past, and they actually work like a real silencer.

Is this the one you talked about in the upcoming builds thread? The one i made now muffle the sound and redirect the airflow backwards. That means that while the marker isn't any more silent for me it's almost impossible to hear if if your in front of me. Tested it yesterday and people standing 10-15m from couldn't even hear me shooting Could you explain how it works and how you made it?

Well i've made two, one for my J&J barrels the other is for my automag and air power vector. Both were similar in design though. Due to some hyesteria that certain countries have against silencers i won't post HOW i made it here, i can however PM you a detailed explanation on several different designs if you want.

Actually i still stand firm that you should be ALLOWED to make a how-to since it's not in any way illegal to do that (this is an international forum after all). I myself won't make one here simply because i don't want to make anyone nervous.

I know you do wolfen, but in our discussion about this when the forum first came to be we decided that you could show us your silencers, but not write how-tos

If you do posts in how-to info make sure you are only posting the material on how to build the fake version... if it's possible to take it apart and mod it from there then that's the builders problem. like if yours has no sound muffling material in the fake supressor and someone modifies your design by placing a said material in it... that's not your fault. Just saying.

Is it possible to take a mock silencer and make it a legit suppressor?

HELLo!
That depends upon the design of the suppressor, actually. For most fake suppressors this should be doable, with varying amounts of work needed. Only if they're solidly cast, with no hollow space inside, would I deem this "impossible". However, most fake silencers will require that you forcefully split it apart. Either by cutting, or removing any glue used in, the seams. Then after the modifications are done, you'll need to weld or glue it back together.
I'd just buy the Flasc, or make a proper one from the start.
Happy snipin'!

Many of the mock suppressors can be modified into real suppressors (not tiberius though). It's Alot cheaper to make one from scratch though, (the ones i build generally costs around 20 euro but then i get materials enough for atleast 3 of them... so it's really 20/3 = 7ish euro each) And these work just as well or better then anyone you make from a mock suppressor.
