So I bought a new box of paint recently (finally used up 3 boxes, been shooting some normal paint of late as well) and discovered I was up by 3 ! How nice to know TA finally got the low count issue from last year worked out. As well the rounds were of high quality ! No trimming defects on the fins, perfect shape...
So I played on a short field the other day, it was a converted speedball field. Now it had a fort at one end and plywood house at the other with misc bunkers and CQB scattered between. I have been getting frustrated of late cuz the local fields really dont have very good places to snipe (its desert here in phx). I found a little corner on the fort that could intercept advancing troops at 35-40 yds. It was too much fun to plink every adversary that came up to the bunker of plywood. I was laying prone with my 9.1, lapco/TA rifled 683, xb1-4x scope and nailing each opponent as they stuck their head and shoulders out. 5 shots and 5 kills. I was finally taken out by a cross shot I didnt see in the wrist. So entertaining in the scope. That game alone made my day and everyone wanted to know what I was shooting :-)
The head and shoulders would peer out, plink, I would see the round hit them through my scope, they would retract quickly and after 30 seconds marker was raised and they were cursing as they walked off the field, haha.
