Hi,
I have heard good things about the harris ultra light bipod but was wondering if anyone had any alternative/cheaper bipod options. I would like it to have a swivel and be able to mount to a picatinny rail.

Savage, I love my harris ultra light bipod. I have two or three cheap ones, I hate them and IMO, I spent more in the three of them than the one ultra light! So save your money! And, the harris works great (spring loaded, simple to use, effortless postive control!)! I got cheap and didn't get the swivel with it cause I never used one before. Figured that I could always buy it later!
So, if you are in this for the long haul, you won't regret getting the harris. Did I mention I hate the other bipods!

I'll probably go with the harris then. All the stuff ive gotten so far for my FSR platform has ended up being more expensive then the gun itself(empire trracer used for $70) but at least most of it can transfer over to whatever i upgrade to. Beyond the bipod all i need is a MS2 sling and i think ill be set for sniping at Supergame 45.
