Top Paintball Sniper competitions????

So what ever happened regarding the 2012 Top Paintball Sniper Canadian and US Opens? There are threads everywhere from a couple weeks before each of these, bot they all end well before either event. Did either of these events take place? were they cool? I wish somebody knew something.

The TPS US open was scheduled in December in a field in New Jersey. If you remember, the east coast was hammered by back to back hurricanes and snowstorms. It was so bad that the New York subways was flooded. So the organizers determined it was best to cancel the US open. I'm sure they put some serious thought to it. In my opinion, it was the right choice. No sure about the canadian open.
