Sorry to double post but here is a video, that at the end, showcases the new sniper rounds. www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=133831150126253&set=vb.100004981055635&type=2&theaterI was watching the leader guy for the white team and I was trying to determine what the strange barrel attachment was. I think its a double curved mirror for spying around corners. Clever. I think these rounds will be heavier than FSR because 50cal sphere volume = .0654 68cal hemi-sphere volume .0634 Not much different... but they fact that the round will have effectively two rear skins makes me think it will push up to but not exceed 4g Also the thought occurs you can have a speed ball delicate shell shoot out of a blow back tippmann without excess breakage currently encountered. With the new information about the "shattering" casings and the lower price I am thinking they are targeting the field owners as the desired customer. Which makes sense now. Like the video ezp, the end when we got to see the 121 round come flying our of the barrel. They appeared to fly straight and spin. One small round for a player; one gaint leap for paintball! And, currently $0.10 cheaper than a FS! Sure wish we could use incindeary devices. and, excuse my ignorance never having played in Russia. Is that the real way they acknowledge being hit; or, just drama for the filming?

i have played with russians in Estonia, and it was almost like that! WHen i started to feel a strong smell of alcohol you knew you had one in close, no joke they were drunk as hell alot of them had problems with masks, they were more off then on! I heard the year after some of them had thrown flashgrenades with teargas dont know if its true but it doesnt surprise me at all, i only went for one game But back to 121 paint if its plain old .50cal paintballs in with a skirt then we are back to getting soggy paint from moist and everything else thats bad for paintballs.

Also, since they are sticking paintballs into a frame/shell instead of creating them as one, I'm wondering what humidity and temperature changes will do.
This is great for the 2013 up coming season. 121s and a new T15 from Tiberius. My prediction, we won't see either till well into october (that's how paintball manufactures work - at show prototypes - scrambling to get stuff out for the Chirstmas rush). I truly hope I'm wrong.

You are probably right about the T15 (just two more weeks ) but the 1-2-1 rounds are slotted to release in July

No accuracy test yet that I've seen but here's a video on the marking they do. Looks much better than FS's to me. They also say in the comments that they should be available everywhere in June.....guess we'll see.

Just from the sounds it would appear these were shot at very close range. Thanks for sharing this.

He's also unusually tight lipped about this stuff, but he knows I'm super interested (and currently the only guy in the team to shoot FSRs).
