Had a disagreement with a glass lampcover (if that's what it's called) Long story short, I have a wound that needs healing, fast... My right hand is immobilized since I keep ripping the wound up if I move it.
Any tips to make it heal faster except for keeping it clean and still and eating a lot of protein?

Don't know what to say except we hope you heal fast. I wouldn't trust anything I said anyway as a cure. But, I will talk with my posse. Maybe there are some pills you can take! Mine work great, no pain. I could send you some of mine. Here, may be this will cheer you up. Some say a positive attitude helps the healing process: But in case that's too pensive for you right now, how about an earlier picture of wolfen as a child/pup practicing his domination skills so that one day he could run this world famous forum: edit: I would have sent you some hOOters pix but, we don't want to upset the wolfen now, do we?

Chicago, those pics sure cheered me up, still laughing DJmatt123, that's a great idea, iv used similar stuff on open blisters, cant see why they wouldn't work on this one too. Casper, ye i think that will be perfect for when I get the initial healing process away... At the moment I'm using a wrist guard for inline skating to keep me from moving the hand

Let it heal form the inside out, NO SCABS. if the wound heals from the outside in it scars. Keep is moist, covered and clean. I put some sort of Aloe en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe_vera leaf on any of my wounds and they heal on average 2 times faster.

Found a band aid from compeed, I'v liked how they work on blisters so i hope they will do wonders here to, they work on the moist healing principle, some kind of gel in em. I think its basically the same as DJmat123 suggested.
As for what i found, some kind of aloe stuff or other ointments to keep a moist healing process going seems to be the way to go.

Well, i would have that going for me then... Switched band-aid today after over 24h and it seems to be working, it ain't pretty but it does seem to speed up the healing process

Forget the band-aid. What I do is get a Aloe leaf that is the same size as the wound or bigger and just tape the thing on. Every 24 hours it gets changed. I had just got a razor edge on my hunting knife and was out waking a pesky limp ( spur of the moment stupid idea) and I took the top of my second knuckle on my pinky finder...done and all ( it was a VERY sharp razor edge because I felt on paint.... ). An Aloe band-aid and a week or two later the skin was back. The skin is still pink there to this day for some odd reason(happened 2 years ago) but there is no scaring.

Allu, I just heard. I'm sorry. I hope you feel better. And, it depends on where the scar is.

i doubt it since the ice here is about ½ cm thick and only covers the shoreline it'll be a couple of months before we have proper and thick ice.

Hey Allu, here's something for when you are out fishing and can't get to the bacon immediately! I heard yesterday, that the paintball members on ACES have a better sense of humor than those on the Tiberius forum. At least, that's what I heard!
