I am thinking about buying a T9.1 but have a HUGE question before I do.
I want to build it like this: T9.1 + Qloader + M.A.T.S. & HPA
Essentially, I want to use the First Strike Mags in sniping situations, but I also want to be able to switch to hopper mode when I want to lay down a little more paint.
I have been doing a bit of research and I saw a youtube review that said you couldn't switch between Mags and hoppers in-game. Something about how a nipple needs to be swapped out for a solid nipple because the air pressure would leak out the mag if it did not contain a C02 cartridge.
Alternatively, I also read a review that said it was possible to easily swap between FS Mags. and hoppers in-game.
Can i get the best of both worlds with the setup i listed previously? (I despise C02 cartridges) however i woulndt mind using them or leaving one in the mag while i ran HPA from the stock.

If you have the air in stock the gun will still fire even without a mag. The air in stock conversion kit comes with a plug for the the hole used with 12g in mag. You could also run with 12g in the mag a shoot regular paint through the hopper (only like 25- 30 shots though). Air in stock will give you anywhere between 100-115 shots (can be increased slightly with a polished bolt).

Like Soldier of Fortune said, if you have the tank in stock option, all you need to do to go from mag to hopper is eject the mag and twist the barrel ( you need to eject the mag because the mag locks to barrel into place). From my experience you do get abit more shots then Soldier of fortune suggests (130-140 at 280 fps, you can't really go higher then that with normal paintballs if you want to use first strikes as well due to the fact that first strikes fly at around 20 fps higher speed under same pressure) ofcourse this varies with your barrel and how well maintained your marker is as well as the fps you use.
Also you can use a remote coil with a bigger tank on your back, then you'd get alot more shots.

I started out co2. Went to HPA in stock. Then went to larger tank on back. I really like the tank on back. I never once worry about the tank on my back or the number of rounds I've fired. At the end of day, I refill the tank and go home! I highly recommend the remote line.

Yea, if you plan on shooting BOTH first strikes and normal paintball i too think that a remote line is the best option. For first strike only i really recommend the tank-in-stock.
