Is your marker a transformer. I must admit, mine is. I put my silent knight to bed for the winter but like a phoenix; now that spring approaches, my silent knight and her companion, the deaf leopard, have transformed before my very eye and will continue until I get out to the fields again (hopefully very soon).
What the hell is the old man talking about asks my ever loyal but still confused posse. Well, I'll tell you if you promise to keep your britches on! Actually girls that's not a requirement. Stand down, as you were (it just sounded good and rounded out another paragraph).
My deaf leopard for example, went to sleep as a light weight, stripped down T9.1 with retractable bi-pod and rifled 0.683 barrel sitting atop her a standard tib riser and adjustable riser atop that with the standard trigger and an Eotech sight. When she awoke the other day, she was like a playful kitten all relaxed and ready to reek havoc. But, then she started to transform:
She got a new magul sling attachment (what a difference!). She got rid of her bi-pod and took on a new compensator which allowed for the AFG to finally be connected to her sleek body (without mods or additional attachments). She dropped the ball breaker 0.683 lapco rifled barrel in favor of her old favorite the efficient and just as accurate flasc 0.687 bore kit with gen 2 porting allowing her to get rid of the flasc to lapco adapter. When that happened she swallowed the flasc suppressor deep shortening her overall length again (less cumbersome - more CQB again). She loves the new killjoy trigger. And, she looks forward to getting the killjoy ROC stock. When this happens she may drop the risers which will no longer be necessary (making up for any weight gain she may have temporarily realized from the ROC stock). Oh, she kept her Eotech sight.
So, she basically transformed in front of my very eye and it is not over yet! So, what happened to the silent knight you say. Well, that is a story for another time. She is completely in pieces right now trying to get the killjoy trigger to work consistently in her and she is waiting for one of those new riffled barrels from either lapco or hammerhead so she's not done at all transforming yet. She will also retained her Eotech sight. Oh and she too will have the magpul AFG2 foregrip and the magpul sling attachment. So, sighting/aiming with same foregrip and triggers will be maintain across both markers as well as the silence from the Flasc suppressors and the Eotech sights!
Basically they are the same markers as before with consistent target acquisition systems. But, I believe all these other changes will all be vast improvements over the markers I put to sleep over the winter non-season. Markers that I thought could not be improved on. So, that was a long post to ask if you guys and gal are observing the same. Are your markers actually transformers?
Actually, I wished I had taken time lapsed photos so you could see the transformers in action. But, I didn't. May be next year!

Already answered on this at the Tibby forums but some of my markers are transformers, others chameleons

true, true - but, I did not know if all our members were Tiberius members here so I posted something here too. It is almost identical.

my ladies haven't finished transforming. When done (and working), I'll take their pix. They love having their pix taken. Skully, you are still a Tiberius porn freak, aren't you.

absolutely! Its nice to at least see other beautiful tiberius markers, because my brass beauties aren't complete. One of them is in pieces since I sent the body to Tymcneer (MCB) and the other one is whole but with Dukie (MCB). Hopefully I will have them back soon

Pix as requested by skully, documenting the strange phenomena referred to as Tiberius Transformation: Her original transformation from a CQB "out of the box" to this: - changed from Tib red dot that came with CQB package (lost it first game) to an ACOG and added a retractable bipod and air in stock (no more co2). Thought I was done!
A year later: dl.dropbox.com/u/32074185/Paintball/compressed%20images/deaf%20leopard%20compressed.jpg[/img]- Added Killjoy adjustable riser, cowitness (bad idea), Eotech, and flasc barrel with flasc suppressor. Now I was definitely done. Could not be any better.
Last year: - Added new Lapco/Tiberius riffled 0.683 14 inch barrel but she looked strange so added the front shroud for looks. Also a flasc to Lapco/Tib thread adapter to I could still use the awesomely silent flasc suppressor. I have to stop. Her transformations are becoming a serious addiction now. Even with her added weight she is so beautiful and so deadly now!
Now: - Finally, she shed those extra pounds she put on last year! Lost the front shroud and the bipod and the 14 inch riffled for the smooth bore flasc 0.687. Added a compensator which allowed me to use the original magpul AFG and I added a magpul rail attachment for my quick release sling (much better). Also got the Killjoy trigger (great improvement) and the Killjoy mag release (not installed yet) and the Killjoy ROC stock (which really allows me engage the sight properly and quickly with my mask on - what an improvement too). I also went remote (to match the same air set-up as the Silent Knight - my mp7 remote).
I'm done watching her transform. She is mesmerizing, truly beautiful. But, I'm exhausted trying to keep her happy. I'm an old man and I finally know how a "sugar daddy" feels. __________________

OK, this may help others of you with your decisions on what to buy for this season. First, what I stopped using over time and why: - Tiberius Red Dot - lost it (now use loctite on my tib screws)
- ACOG - smaller field of view (not as bright a viewing area as replacement EOtech and EOTech is lighter!)
- Cowitness for EOTech - not useful, distracting and hard to adjust (plus useless with adjustable riser)
- Tiberius barrel and Fake Silencer - not as efficient or accurate as FLASC replacement and FLASC suppressor actually worked, Tib did not!
- Lapco/Tiberius 0.683 riffled - number of reasons (broken FS, cleaning, weight - was accurate!)
- Tiberius Front shroud - weight
- Bipod - weight and grip!
- Tib adjustable stock - always problem with mask getting in to sight properly
- Tiberius Air in stock - worse problems with mask, had to add second riser
Now what I added that are game changers (good things): - Tiberius markers
- Tiberius First Strikes
- Ninja Regs
- FLasc barrels
- FLasc Suppressors
- EOtech sights (wide viewing angle and fast target acquisition)
- MagPul AFGs
- MagPul Sling attachments
- Killjoy Triggers
- Killjoy ROC stock
The Tiberius markers are still the best in my opinion. I have a T9.1 that has transformed back to a CQB type rifle with deadly accuracy and great flexibility. She is known to all as the Deaf Leopard. I also have a T8.1 that lives in an Ops Gear MP7 shroud. Just as deadly accurate and cause of the MP7 shroud, even more silent than the Deaf Leopard if you can believe that. She is known to all as the Silent Knight. Man, I love paintball and my markers! p.s. honorable mention here: both Tiberius markers are setup up now for remote running with the same "personally designed" swivel system and Proconnect ends. They are keepers too!

Lapco/tib rifled barrel owns! i've never broken paint with it EVER. And tank-in-stock is awesome if you use the adjustable raiser (just my opinion though)

You are more than entitled to your opinion. I've always respected your opinion and I agree with most things dependent on your set up. All I'm saying is that if you have a choice, you may wish to consider a Killjoy ROC stock which eliminates the need to buy the adjustable riser to get tighter into your sight. And, it changes the weight and balance. People should look into both. I've run one way for a year, now I'm trying something different. I may have changed my mind by the end of this season.
As far as the Lapco/tib, I've always said it is very accurate but cleaning broken FS and the fin fragments from the barrel was too much for me. I'm very happy to hear that in over 400 rounds you haven't had a break; not my experience and others that I've read about.
What you described was my last years set-up. I can't help, my girls are just trying to keep up with current fashions.

yup...gotta agree with chicago on the stock bit. I don't have a ROC stock, but I do have a longbow stock on my T8.5 and its the same idea. The dropped stock beats buying a riser any day of the week

Oh im not disagreeing with anyone . i just find that playing FS without adjustable raiser really limits your usefulness of the first strike, also i really like how the ROC stock looks and i have no doubt it works great. I just find that any way i can get rid of a remote coil i will because those buggers gets stuck everywhere all the time... Nothing in my previous post were at all meant to be offensive in any way and i apologize if you took it as such. Wasn't really referring to your marker as much as my opinion in general about the stock and barrel (which i still think are the two best additions you can get to a t9.1).

@wolfen, no offensive was ever taken - if you perceived that, I'm the one who needs to apologize. As long as I have your attention, I was watching the History Channel in the states here. They said that wolfens crossed the ice bridge into the Americas about 60 million years ago. But became separated from their original packs when the ice bridge melted. Over the next 60 million years, the ones here in the states became the genetic throwbacks we call demon dogs. Have you heard the same story? My posse really like petting our demon dogs so they were wondering about your coat. They love having our demon dogs roll over so they can rub their bellies.
@Sir Skullcandy, I put a gold star on my calendar today - cause you agreed with me. Oh! and the posse sends their love.

Finally, silent knight let me take her picture. So, here is her transformation over the years: First she was given the case that deaf leopard used to sleep in (before the deaf leopard grew and gained all that wait): Then she got jealous and wanted a FLASC suppressor too: Here are the two outside posing together (I foolishly thought they were done!): Her she is today: FLASC suppressor on a FLASC 0.690 smooth bore supporting her la Rue indexes and Magpull AFG2 and sling attachment. She is remote line too. Same low pressure. Oh, Killjoy trigger and mag release:
