Oops, Sorry about that. I was under the impression that Hitman shot the video as he posted in on two sites. Im a little embarrassed. No hard feelings. It was late when I posted that, my apologies.

No worries! He asked me ahead of time if it was okay to re-post. We agreed this was a good video to promote our style of play.

OK, let's call this guy a sniper so we can get by this insane barrage of Tippmann and 250 feet (remember, we talk in therms of yards and meters not feet) so 240 feet is roughly 80 meters and there's no way of telling from the rapid fire and fight which one if any really broke on the other guy; but, I'm willing to give him that one shot by using the goggle 50 ft mark and measuring it on the screen - which if I ever caught an engineer who worked for me doing was immediately reprimanded!

ruraldawgs has it right. Our motto as snipers is "one shot, one kill". Looking at the video, while it seems the marker is firing quite accurately, to me it just looks like long balling. Plus, looking at the 250 ft video, and comparing his markings with what I saw, it looks to my like his friend was just past the half way mark on the field, which would put the shot around 150 ft. Just my 2 cents....

And, from the above satellite which could be anywhere, there are no benches like in the video. It could be any of the open areas (if that's really the same area. But, you see, I don't care anymore.
It's paintball and if that's what he thinks, fine. We need to enjoy ourselves here on this forum. I believe he has another agenda, becuase after all this he's still pushing this one shot at 80 yards with a rain of paintballs which we've all done. Also, you can count from the shot til the guy jumps.

I just watched the other video about the woodsball game. Just an opinion, but it seems like the distances are waaaaay off. the 150 ft shot looked more like 25-30 yards. Just saying.
You are right, Chicago. Paintball is about fun. So lets have fun however we want. ^_^

I did watch and I also counted (measured the seconds to target). Yes, some shot were almost 300 feet away (assuming you have your marker set to 280-300 fps). Not all of those hit their target on the first shot! So, some of those shots using an apex were around 100 yards way; but not all. Some where much shorter.
All that said, you could be on my team any day. I love playing paintball, any type, any where, almost any weather.
But, I have to tell you that seeing my shots curve like that is what I used to have to put up with and it made me uneasy, now with with first strikes and a sniper riffled barrel, I watch them fly straight to their target at the ranges you where shooting (at 270-280 feet per second). A double tap will strike one on top of the other at those ranges. It's great fun. At longer ranges like 1.5 to twice as far away, I take great pride as the silenced, first strike reappears in my scopes field of view and strikes close to if not on the cross hairs.
I guess that's the only difference we are talking. We love the game and we love the tangdown!
Dont stop; but keep an open mind for the rest of us and our abilities too!

How good a distance judge are you?
Strange thing is, I even counted the shots instinctively! I only realized afterwards. Did you by any chance count his paces? That's what a sniper does!
