Just replied to another thread and that got me thinking. What does paintball cost to play in your area? I think it's fairly expensive in California for an experience that doesn't come close to what some of you guys get back East. For example, a day of walk on runs me $25-$40 for entry, $10-$15 for air and then whatever I feel like spending on paint.
A weekend of scenario usually runs something like $80 for entry, $60 for paint and around $80 in gas to get there and back again, but I live really far from almost every venue. I can do food pretty inexpensively, but what's a weekend of paintball without beer to boot so it runs like $40 for food. Worth every penny to be sure, but how about you guys? What do you shell out to play paintball?
Ironically enough, my cost of paint has gone way way down since I started shooting first strikes. Suck on that nay-sayers!

I help out reffing at the field I play at all the time in northern Ca. I get free entry, air, and soda along with paint at cost if I want what the field has (which I normally don't). Normally it's $15 for entry and $10 for all day air. It's about a 70 mile round trip and half the time I ride my motorcycle out there to save on gas. I also am very conservative on paint, I usually only go thru about 100-150 balls a day. I guess I'm just a cheapskate.....
Never played at a scenario yet but the "big games" that my field has is the same price as a regular day...

$10 all day field and air fee, $25-$15 for big games (depending on which one it is). $45 and $55 field paint (FS are allowed because their store sells it, making it field paint as well ;D). $10 gas for the double round trip my mom has to make.

paint is $30 here. Tunka does free woods ball games. A local field is $20 a day, and $1 per fill.

I got paint this year for $25 a case (infinity) from a local field that ordered it and it came in wrong (they use paint with fp on it so this stuff wasn't marked and they didn't want to use it). It was fresh so I bought 3 cases. I get my Co2 tanks filled at the local Dicks. They have a 1 free with four fills. So it works out to about $3.00 a fill.
I usually shoot around 1,000 paintballs, and one tank of air, so about $15 a day to play... No gas cost since we play at my private field in my backyard...

Fortunate enough to have at least 9 different fields within a 2.5 hour drive from Seattle, Washington. The average is $10 for field fee + $10 all day air. Field paint starts at $55 a case. So I'm looking at around $80 a day of melting faces.
I'm not sure if this is a trend in other areas but a few fields started offering "memberships" similar to a gym membership. Pay a monthly dues and play anytime you want. Just gotta pay for paint. I think that's a smart move. However, i think the price is pretty steep. I think you gotta play at least three times to break even for the month.
