Hello Folks!
I don`t know if this is a new idea, but my teammate and I are working on speedloaders for FSR. I mean tubes with 8 rounds to refill mags very quick. Did anybody try somrthing similar?
Our Prototype works well but we are now on some improvements. I will post pics when its ready to be shown.
greetings from Bavaria

If you pull it off I'll be the first to order! Something like this would be a boon in the field. In fact, it'd be great just to use with regular paintballs for reloading pistol clips in the field.

HELLo!
This does indeed sound very interesting! I think I'd be one of your customers as well, provided it didn't cost too much. :-P
Now, if I only could find some magazine homing devices, I'd be really happy.... :-\
Happy snipin'!

Ok this is the Version 1.0...we will test it soon in combat
My thougts are running around the "stopping wire" don`t know yet if this is the best solution...perhaps I`ll try something with velcro too.
Until end of the week I should have a short comparison video which should show how fast it is, in fact I don`t know by myself at this moment.

HELLo!
Hmm.. That looks like a nice and simple design. :-) Should work just fine. Looking forward to hear how it works in the field.
As for the "Magazine homing device", it's a device that allows the magazines to automatically find their way to your pocket should one be dropped. So that one does not have to walk the entire field, trying to find it again. Or as I did yesterday; Walked all over the field to not find it. :-(
Happy snipin'!

I decided to give it a shot and made my own out of 12rd tubes cut in half, Popsicle sticks, and duct tape. No fs to test it yet.

Would be nice to see some pics! @ Hellkeepa: german KSK commandos use 2 techniques to prevent loosing mags. First: Paracord attached to mag and grip Sec: Paracordsling attached to mag - when you reload you put your hand with the new mag through the sling first, then release the emtpy mag... here are some pics from the web

I'll post a video after I test them. If they work, then it's a simple and cheap way to make speed loaders.

HELLo!
mercenary: Thanks for the tip. Though unfortunately my loss of the mag stems not from reloading, but a lack of a mag pouch to store them in while they're not in use. Thought it was secure in the pocket of my jacket, which has a push-button on it, but apparently it wasn't. :-( Have bought a vest though, to prevent this from happening again.
Coralnerd: Good thinking there, and I look forward to the video. Going to make a "howto" video, or guide, as well? If so, it would be much appreciated. :-D
Happy snipin'!

If it works I will. It's a real simple design. I just took 3 popsicle sticks and made 1/2 a box. Then slid 1/2 a 12 round tube into it until it was bout as wide as a first strike. It gives the whole tube an fs shape to it. I then cut the base of another popsicle stick and taped it to the bottom. The whole thing is then wrapped in a few layers of duct tape. I'm about to finish setting up my 90 gallon reef aquarium, and I have a few more things to buy, like snails and other stuff, so it will be a little while until I get the cash to buy some fs to test it out. Once I do, I'll post up the results and do a video on how to make one if it works.

Can you make a picture? I just finished V1.1 works even better, it has more FS shape inside...(look pic)

My loader works, but it's not practical since you have to get the angle just right. I'd say 1/4 of the time it loads one of the rounds down. It's a pain to empty the mag and reload it, so 1/4 of the time is to high for me.
