So this is one of those threads that every forum has. There is the picture thread, the intro thread, the rules thread, etc etc etc...you get the point.
So here is the idea;
You are a *insert nationality here* billionaire and can build any combination of gun, soft goods (vest, jersey, etc), mask, and accessories. What would your set-up be?
Custom work?...sure (as long as it follows the rules of physics), rare pieces?...no problem, low funds?...never a thought - You're a billionaire remember?
You're set-ups can be as mild or as wild as you want!
AND............................................................GO!

I like it. I'd go with the t4 w/first strike barrel. Custom five round mags to cut down on profile as well. For optics I'd put a 4x-12x (for scouting purposes) night vision scope with thermal imaging.
The masks available just don't cut it, so I'd design my own. This mask would have no visor but instead use a light weight camera system to project a wide angle view inside the heads up display. Comms would be built in directly and the ability to transmit all visuals to my command center is a must. A programmable cooling system would keep my frosty in all situations.
When it comes to my side arm I'd have to choice but to go with two Skullcandy custom t8.1s delivering first strike love in a cute little package. Anything else would just be inappropriate.

If I had a bajillion dollars, first strike minigun. Not exactly snipery, but if you have the money, who needs to conserve ammo?

I was worth a lot of money way back when (but never a billionare). So, I got the two best set-ups possible; at least I could pretend I still had money. One is my MP7 with the T8.1 inside shooting first strikes only (via a remote line line set to output 500 psi). The sight is an eotech knock off with the flasc bore kit running the 0.687 and the 9inch gen2 ported extension that terminates inside a the flasc suppressor. Yes, occassionaly I let god borrow my setup.
My second setup is the stripped down T9.1 with all the same bells and whistles except add a kiljoy riser and the 0.683 Tiberius riffled barrel (that now appears to be working for me). Same 500 psi remote connection too. But, god can't borrow this one one. It's just mine. However, if I'm ever in Cali, I'll let Archangel touch it; but just once.
Only thing that would make either setup better are airless mags that gave me 10 shots a mag rather than 8 (and make my Mp7 fully automatic ;D )
[yes, yes...my posse says hi].

I would have a t9.1 with a rifled barrel, and a bunch of mods to make it look like a 50cal. I'd put an adjustable riser and the most expensive red dot I could find on it. Of coarse I would have a t8 for my side arm. A while ago I saw a scuba mask at a dive shop that had a little LCD screen in the corner of one of the lenses that would act like a dive computer. I would get something like that, but for paint ball. It would tell me wind speed, have a range finder, thermometer, and live satellite viewing of the area. I'd have a gillie suit made for me by the top sniper in the world. I would also have a tone of specially made mines that are one inch big, but have a specially made paint that reacts with air to multiply so it sprays the equivalent amount of paint as normal mines. Yea, that last bit was a stretch, but why not.

I think the marker thing is pretty well nailed down. If I had the cash I would make myself a stillsuit straight out of Dune. Not sure I'm all about recycling my own waste as part of it, but a full body suit that provides me with a layer of protection, cools me with water and takes the place of a camel back sounds good to me. Could make for a better capacity while providing better weight distribution as well.
My issue with having access to anything would be that I would bring everything onto the field and find myself weighted down and slow. Funny how great invention comes from doing more with less.

HELLo! Oohh... Tempting topic, and one that requires much research to pick out the most ideal load-out. The quick list, however, would look something like this: Camo: Fiber optic full body camouflage, w/light weight ghilly cape/shroud for closer manoeuvres. Still-suit like capabilities, as described by Mayhem, would be nice. Primary armament: Modified T9.1 with short-body mod/compensator, collapsible front grip (that goes flush with body), capable of shooting my (so far) conceptual paint ammunition. Scope/aiming aids: Adjustable scope, with built-in (laser) range finder, thermal & IR camera. Linked to display in mask. Adjustable riser. Secondary armament: Milled out T8.1 for minimum weight, using same ammunition as the primary weapon. Harness/storage: Low profile back holster for primary weapon. Which would allow for quick, silent and easy release and stowing away of the weapon. Hidden below the ghilly whenever it's donned. Holster for extra magazines at hips, secondary holster also on lower back/hip. Quick release & low profile. Radio & misc equipment at discrete locations on back/shoulders, to keep stomach and legs free of clutter when crawling/prone. Mask: Form-fitting, full-view mask w/built in HUD-type screen. (No light should escape back via glass to the outside, to prevent giving away my position.) Built-in radio communication, GPS navigation/plotting (on map overlay), real-time update to & from command central, wind speed indicator and so on. Controllable from weapon or the inside of the wrist on the suit. Should also be able to alter the hues of the paintwork, and outside of the glass, to provide as close a match to the natural surroundings as possible. ( Paramagnetic iron oxide paint polymer, linked to small wide-angle cameras at the opposite side.) Misc gear: Small & light-weight detachable motion sensors, linked to the mask's map overlay. Paint claymores/mines that actually worked, small knife and other essential survival gear that could comfortably fit in a small pocket and weigh no more than 2 kg in total. Hmm.. Anything I forgot? In any case, that how my dream equipment would look like, or at least close enough. I'm sure I'll add more to the list though, as soon as I come across anything else that would give me an advantage or lighten the load. :-) Happy snipin'!
