I want to know why so many people have a problem with round capacity on their markers. The t9 has an 8 round mag. On average a real sniper only has between a 4 and 8 round mag. Yet so many people want more shots. Then you have the tippmann owners who drop tac caps on their cyclone fed markers so they have less shots. Am I the only one who sees something wrong here?

Same argument I mentioned, snipers with full hoppers.
If you can't use limited ammo, then don't bother. Plain and simple.
But is a fact that going limited ammo helps improve you game. And a typical sniper set up should always use the smallest hopper/mag available.
Some people just like to complain. LOL

I carry only two mags full of FS when woods balling. I do use a hopper when I go to Blitz since It's mostly urban and speed ball. I do sometimes go pistol and blitz with only mags. I will say it was quite the challenge going from A5 (rental) to T9.1 (my marker) after only three games of paint ball. Yea, it was kind of dumb to go mag fed being a noob to paint ball, but in the long run it helped my game like crazy.

Same here. I think its the best way to go. switching later seems like it would be more of a challenge.

I actually don't really think it matters much if you go a hopper full or limited ammo. i do both depending on the type of game and either one works just as well. The advantage with a hopper or more paint is that you can switch position on your team if it's needed and it also takes some of the edge off for newer players, Besides just because you have more doesn't mean you have to spray.
The advantage with going with limited ammo is like Major says, you improve your accuracy, and decision making abilities (or "your games as she said it") Also since FS only work with mags so far it's really not much of a option for anyone who want that HUGE advantage. Disadvantage is that it as the name states limit you, basically stops you from doing things that you might be able to do with a hopper.
I definitely think that you should at least play limited if not both. Limited ammo is the best way to train more then a few useful abilities. While playing now and again with a hopper might improve your understanding of how others play (which is really useful). Also if you play on a team the advantage you have with a hopper is that IF needed you can fill another players spot. with mags you can't really do that.

super duper agree with this^. Training with limited ammo really helps when you want to go on real long missions like D day, so you don't find your self out of ammo in the middle of the game. I can't count how many times I see people walk off the field just because they run out of ammo due to spraying habits. Spraying less paint also saves money. When I first started out I went through 500 rounds in one hour. Now 500 rounds last me 6-8 hours.

I am trying to go tac cap just for round counting practice and money issues( paint is not cheap).
Honestly I dont care or see any thing wrong with a 400 round hopper or a 10 ball tube feed.

I dont have a problem with either. its more the fact of people complaining that they dont have enough shots with a mag fed marker like the t9 or t8 series. the only reason i mentioned the tac cap is because i think theyre odd because i forget how new the box mag is and the mag kits arent out. i expect to see a good chunk of people converting to those when they are availabe.

I carry 24 rounds plus an additional 24 and that typically lasts me any given stay on the field. It'd be nice to have more, but unneeded
