So maybe its just me being an oblivious canuk, but since when are there american 1 dollar coins that are actually used by the general population?
I just got back from a tour to myrtle beach for the Can-Am days and when I was digging through all my change I discovered four american 1 dollar coins.
Can one of our friends from the south please fill me in?

So maybe its just me being an oblivious canuk, but since when are there american 1 dollar coins that are actually used by the general population? I just got back from a tour to myrtle beach for the Can-Am days and when I was digging through all my change I discovered four american 1 dollar coins. Can one of our friends from the south please fill me in? The ones I'm thinking of used to be called "silver dollars." When there was actually one dollar of silver in them. When the USA got off the gold standard and the price of precious metals rose, "silver dollars" no longer contained a dollars worth of silver and became too expensive to make. However, they kept their popularity in places like Los Vegas where gambling and slot machines abound. They been trying lately in the states to push $2 coins. So, you feel like its spare change rather than a lot of money you are spending on things now. But, IMO, they weren't catching on and the new $2 coins were the size of a US quarter making them difficult to keep track of in your pocket, "Did I just spend twenty-five cents on something or OMG, I think I gave them two dollars." They were called "Susan B. Anthony" coins to help get the woman more involved; but it didn't work. So, now they are once again trying to revive the "silver dollar." However, if the ones you were given have aluminum foil on the outside and chocolate on the inside, yes you were ripped off. don't judge all US citizens by this outrageous behavior, the majority of the citizens here probably would have just shot you and not exchanged real money for chocolate. Why go thru the extra step!

they arent susan b's, i have 1 of those and these are different Attached is SusanB. Yes, she another member of my posse. Clothed for the first time this year. If you had a SusanB in your pocket you'd have a smile on your face! These girls have applied for membership but seeing as they are invisible, their applications are very hard to see. Skull, return Fringe and Fox or there will be repercussions! Attachments:

ill put up some pictures of these dollars i found, maybe then i can get some more real answers about them. Here, I'll do it for you. Check out the following link: www.spyreview.co.uk/2007/01/22/canadian-spy-transmitter-coins/I think PzPicklez planted them on you (not necessarily him personally but probably a tranny he paid to do it while you were in the US). We discovered two more this morning attached to the demon pups collars when they returned for their morning mailman).

we have quite a bit of dollar coins. What color are they? When I worked for Amazon.com we had tons of them in the coin machines. I even got a black pouch for them so my daughter could play pirates.

The U.S. just doesn't have a strong coin system IMO. In fact, the only place I've ever been to that I actually liked the coin currency was Japan. Don't even get me started on the Euro.
