Well, as everyone knows, I've been waiting to get my hands on another Mp7 so I could hydrofilm it with the Reaper film (first pix). But, only I'm going to do the under cost in flat dark earth ( FDE) instead of lime green. Well, the marker and shroud arrived today. and, I realized I never take before pix; only final product. So, today, I've got some "before" pix for you: The reaper pattern: The marker outside the gun (cause it won't be touched or filmed). Notice kiljoys new Rock Stoc for Mp7s: Third, the Tiberius T8.1 inside the shroud: Fourth the exploded view of everything: Fifth, the top long piece of the shroud (barrel goes in this end). It will be painted and filmed (weighs 20 ounces now -used my scale): Sixth, the two piece that will be filmed (the long front and the short rear). The short end weighs 7 ounces now before primer and FDE coat. The front and back will screw together when done to hold the T8.1 inside like shown in the next photo: two pieces of the shroud mated together again (all that is what will have the Reaper pattern, nothing else. Rails will be remounted after it is returned to me: Yes, returned to me. I'm actually going to have someone else film this for two reasons: one, I want a professional job on this one (not that I'm not capable); but, two, more importantly, I can't get anyone to sell me this pattern! So, off my MP7 heads to Canada! Go to Tiberius forum for updastes and final product as it comes together. Since this is probably one of my last posts on this great but frustrating forum. Oh, Jazgeek over on the Tiberius forum is the canadian that is doing the filming! I ordered a real eotech with zombie markings and sight to go on her (another 8 ounces). If I think of it, I'll measure that new Kiljoy stock to get the weight too. That stock is awesome. Will also change the name of the Silent Knight, to the White Knight and this new gal to the Dark Knight! Come visit me on Tiberius.

here's a sad update: I'm still waiting for a lot of parts but then saw this: Well, I just checked DVOR. I'm so disappointed. DVOR is selling the real eotech zombie scope: www.dvor.com/eotech-zombie-stopper-red-dot-holographic-sight.htmlThat's over one hundred dollars less when you also factor in the taxes I paid for buy it from OpticPlanet thru Amazon. And, Yes, I checked, Amazon does not have a price match policy! Damn!

Well, I kept my witts about me. I cancelled the Amazon purchase of the EOtech which was costing me over $60 in tax as well, and it was over $60 dollars more in purcahse price too! It was being fufilled by OpticsPlanet.
I order a new eotech zombie killer that supposed ships in two business days from Dvor. Well, there was tax and shipping (flat $9.99 shipping).
So, I still saved almost one hundred dollars. And, guess who is fulfilling this order for DVOR, you guessed it! OpticsPlanet with a two day business delivery promise. So, I'll get it before the Amazon one that was $100 more!
They had told me it was to be deliver today March 15. And, I had planned to show each new compeont on this project as it came in. Now march 25 at the earliest, another 10 days so no way. Canceled and got it cheaper too!

Canadians, I need your help (well, may be people in the US who have shipped to Canada).
I sent the only known MP7 shroud to Canada two weeks ago. I've heard nothing back from the guy who was to dip it for me. Should I be worried.
I know when I get stuff from canada, it takes about a week. Did I just lose the MP7 shroud?

Heard from jazgeek over on the Tiberius forum late today. He has my Mp7 shroud. Sent him paypal. Now, the maddening wait begins.
I just checked figuring two week back (it took two weeks to get there) and one week to prep and dip, that puts me in the second week of April. Boy, that's cutting it close!

Update, my MP7 shroud is at Jazgeek's place. And DVOR said they shipped my real Eotech Zombie holographic sight today. Thing are coming together on my new mp7 project.
By the way, I do understand Mr. SkullCandy Sir's question over on Tiberius forum on "Why would I need an offest rail stock on an Mp7."
Well, here's my answer. I already have an MP7 with the standard stock that comes with it and it was so uncomfortable with my mask on that I removed it. I also added my own remote out the back before I learned from VoodooAddict how to get it to come out the side.
So, I want to try the new Killjoy Roc Stock for all those reasons. Plus I got so used to the roc stock on my T9.1, the Silent Angel, that I wanted one on this Dark Knight! Once I start using it, you know, I'll let everyone know what I think of it.
Oh, and here's something the new Roc for the MP7, just the rods and shoulder plate are a good 6 or more ounces lighter than the old (hard to be exact cause my scale and the shape of the stoc). But, the old and new are interchangeable thank goodness (I don't know if anyone else realizes that, but I had to tinker with it)!
So what did I do then? I put the Fixxxer modified riser which is a good 8 ounce lighter than my old Kiljoy riser and the new stock on my silent angel (named after AA here) and made her almost a pound lighter.
First time after making the mods and picking her up, I almost hit myself in the head. Ultra light now!
Oh, and I got one of Kiljoy's compensators finally. They are awsome and the craftmanship is superior to any other I had or seen! I'm tempted to try a special mod the this MP7 using the beautiful kiljoy compensator but that part I haven't decided yet. The Dark knight should be my crowning achieve meant in first strike marker mods and upgrades!

Well, two things arrived today. The Zombie Eotech (from DVOR two day turn around as promised not the three weeeks I'd been waiting for OpticsPlant and it was cheaper!)) and a V2 8.1 mag (from Valken).
The new mag is 10.4 ounces, the old mag is 9.6. I was surprised (1/2 a pound heavier!), I was expecting it to be the other way around! Measured it twice. And, that was just the mag (no Co2 cartidge in either). Loaded a co2 to see how it works, it gassed up easy.
I've always hated either of the old types of quick gas up methods (felt I lost more Co2, this new method was a quick short piss). Oh, and the old mag had two stikcers on it; one. yellow sticker on it which should have contributed to the weight (stikcer used to make it easier to see in the brush not visible when in markers) and a blue sticker as well on the bottom (all my mags have different colors cause one or two sometime jam or have problem and that's the only real way to track the culprits). I was suroised the sticker should have added to the weight difference not made them lighter.
My old eotech 512 (removed currently so I can dip the outer shell) weighed in at 10 ounced almost exactly, the new zombie killer weighted in at 8 ounces exactly both with battiers (the 512 take 2 double AA while the zombie uses a 123).
That's all I have to report right now. Haven't heard anything from the guy in canada dipping my shroud. Pix later when more of the parts are ready and I dip the Eotech shell!
And hey, ruraldawg, you'll note that I stayed in my ACES sandbox as you suggested over on the Tiberius forum. Prick!

Sorry, just realized something I need to correct immediately. The new mags are not a 1/2 a pound heavier (8 ounces) they are 0.8 ounces heavier (less than an ounce and may reflect either the new gassing mechanism or thickness in the anodizing!

You are my brother ruraldawgs. Trinity over on Tiberius put it in the proper perspective. The nurse brought me the wrong color jello today and I think one of them got a thumb print on my new Eotech! We're fine. Check the time. I called you a "prick" before dinner and before you explained the wink, the nose, and the smiley ****!

Here are some more pix. Teasers til I get the shroud back and put it all together for you: New stuff, the Eotech Zombie Stopper next to my trusty Eotech 512 (over $1000 in scopes there!) and the new version 2 First Strike mag against the old for comparison. - Closeup of the new to old mag. That yellow sticker on the old mag is to make it easier to find if I drop them (can't be seen inside Mag). Notice the double side spring opening on the new mag. As you can see, they've seen some action! - Last pix is the original shroud on the 512. The original was removed (top right of photo) and will be kept in a safe place in case I ever sell it. The one now on the real Eotech is a shell from a clone. I'm going to dip it so it has skulls like the rest of my White Knight oh! you can see my old $29 clone from Hong Kong in the first pix upper left hand corner. As I assumed, They are almost identical and I dry fitted the real EoTech to be sure - Finely, if you are looking at the 512 and wondering what the piece of plexiglas is in the front of the lens. It is a shield for the 512. Yes, they make them. I had to make sure it would dry fit with the clone shroud. Added projection against a paintball. Drooll you bastards. I had meant to take one pix of the special plexaglass and how it worked it; but, I forgot. Maybe, next time...

OK, b4 the Dark Knight is completed (still waiting for the shroud to return from jazgeek) in canada, I figured I should complete the White Knight: Sorry forgot to take pix of the gray primer, first two are of the shroud for the 512 Eotech and the protective lens I forgot to include earlier: This next one is what's left of the film I'll use. So, I've got to get it right the first time! Here's how it turned out: Here's how it looks with the rest of the skulls: Yes, smudged the still drying top of the scope shroud; but, I kinda like it that way! Now on the the Dark Knight!
